Secondly, these hackers are taking the information of the players, not going out and personally attacking any Sony CEOs. The people feeling the largest hit are the small people in the crossfire.

Yeah... it seems like a trend may be starting. Anonymous with their cryptic YouTube messages and masks attempt to glorify hacking. With all the PSN media, I'm sure there's bound to be more hackers coming. Best bet is just to limit your exposure and hope things blow over. Osama is dead and now we have new terrorists to worry about.

I get your mixed feelings though as an early adopter.
Not all games pre-load early, and not all digital retailers offer it, but it's becoming a pretty common occurrence - so much so that many PC gamers have come to expect it.
It's a pretty sweet feature that consoles don't get.. yet.
