this year I think they should pick up a few more, i want them to startup or pickup some RPG makers. Sony has a good profile, the only thing it lacks is RPGs and SE is being a$$es this generation.
it's really just matter of time, price is the only barrier now with BluRay and exclusiveness dominating. How fast will they be able to act on the price will determine when the overtaking will happen

speaking the truth, LBP is in no question most creative game of 2008. Hopefully MSFT doesn't have his balls by the hands; being creators of so many great games in the past (including black and white and populus)
my PS2 from launch still works, I am not aware of a 33% failure rate on the PS2
