History has shown that isn't true at all. Usually developers optimize on one system they prefer then it gets passed on to the rest.
honestly don't care which is faster or more powerful, I will go with where there are exclusive games I can't get anywhere else. meaning, right now PS5 will most likely have the edge.
I would rather return to a time where you unlocked characters through accomplishment, not paying for them.
Metrics of power / speed are one thing to show, capability is another. Sounds like PS5 is touting an overall better bus system, meaning not faster chip speeds, but still faster results. All sounds good, but want to see more proof from sources like digital foundry.
