Far from it. They're actually dominating. I know this comment will make many people highly agitated, but it's just the truth.
Consoles, no matter how you feel about them, are still kicking, and... they're kicking hard.
The mighty PS4. Man, this thing just continues to sell like hotcakes. Sony's on a roll with this console.
I definitely notice the difference. On the left (pre-patch) you have a real looking fan with some nice shadow and light with volumetric fog. There's depth to the scene.
On the right you have a flat, lit, dumb looking fan, with missing shadows aplenty. I wonder if the blades even move in the latest patch. I don't remember performance on PS4 or Xbox One (I have both versions) being so bad in this area.
There's definitely an area in the Institute (ri...
An utterly stupid, pointless, fruitless, and meaningless article. DX12's impact on Xbox One has been speculated to death. Until we see a DX12 game, there's just nothing to say.
Pure clickbait. Leave the internet.
Oh look, we're back to January. Thanks for taking us back, Gamingbolt.
It looks... incredible.
The PS4 is simply more powerful than the Xbox One, and a substantial portion of multiplats feature better image quality and performance on PS4.
The Xbox One is still a fantastic console. I enjoy just how feature complete it is. The PS4's UI is great, but doesn't come close to Xbox One's in terms of the overall depth and feature set.
That said, it's a shame Microsoft didn't make the hardware more powerful. 900p stinks next to 1080. I compa...
Too bad the game can't hold my attention longer than 3 minutes.
The mighty PS4, showing its utter dominance of the gaming industry.
Wait, people are actually buying this $150.00 controller?
Enough with the Witcher 3 massaging already. Honestly, I found the game and its world quite bland. There's nothing more alive about it in any sense. Lots of ground to travel with nothing on it.
The only positive I can actually give the game? Presentation. The inventory system was clunky. Character movement was clunky and controller input was seemingly delayed by enough milliseconds to annoy me.
IMO, The Witcher 3 is just another (not so special) medieval...
The beta bored me to tears. It was so bland and run of the mill. I didn't expect it to score well, and it shouldn't.
Unfortunate.
I hope this isn't an Xbox One problem as well.
I really, really think we should be past 720p at this point.
Oh well, 60fps at 900p is very acceptable.
Right?
Obviously they had to scale some things back to fix the issues of Unity.
These stupid articles.
Agreed with Bloodborne goty. I wouldn't even place W3 in the running.
Right now I'm waiting on Fallout 4, which is the only game that has a chance of overthrowing Bloodborne.
Sony.
The PS4 controller feels great for this game. If you were talking about the Dual Shock 3 I'd completely agree.
Halo 5 was a disappointment to me. I don't know. Maybe I've just outgrown these types of shooter games. I just can't stick with it. One match and done. The lore is getting sillier and sillier, too. They need to end the Halo story.
Rise of the Tomb Raider on the other hand is pretty damn good. Even goes beyond TR2013 and its polished version.
For Xbox One, Forza 6 and Tomb Raider are my current plays. Eagerly awaiting Quantum Break as well.
