Please let this be true. Bloodborne is my favourite ps4 game ever, and it’s one of my favourite games overall this gen. Just a thought: with From Software working on Sekiro and Sony owning the IP, could it be possible that another studio is developing Bloodborne 2?
That would depend on its library, obviously. I would purchase one if it got, let’s say, how about a Metroid Fusion remake? And this might be unrelated to the post but I think you hold the record for posting the most garbage within 24 hours of registration here on N4G. And we’re only 6 hours in, wow. I’m proud of you. XD
There’s been 5 Smash games in total, and the first one released almost 20 years ago. Every game introduces a ton of new characters, stages, items, modes, and even core mechanics. How does that equal milking a franchise and just giving the fans more of the same? I’m genuinely curious.
The word mediocre doesn’t belong anywhere close to Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
Ty the tasmanian Tiger, Spinx and the cursed Mummy, anyone? Loved those games to death.
You’ll most likely still be in the minority, unfortunately. And how do you know that the game will be bad allready? You haven’t even played it. Troll.
Nice try.
How is a Nintendo/Microsoft alliance bad for Sony when Sony can join this so-called alliance whenever they want? All they have to do is decide that they’ll support crossplay.
Wasn’t quite sure if this would be worth it aswell as I missed out on the demo but DAMN, this is one of the most addictive games i’ve played in a long time. I’ve actually found myself saying «just ONE more game» all the way down to 4 am.
I agree with the Activision part... that’s definitely a good reason to be worried. But From Software hasn’t put out a bad game in over a decade, so I’d be a little more optimistic if I were you. And how does using the same engine as before equal it being a cash grab? I still think Bloodborne is one of the best-looking ps4 games, so I really dont mind. Is Nioh 2 a cash grab aswell then? Because I can guarantee you that it’ll use the same engine as the original Nioh. Nioh is good game but I don...
Yet another red flag? Even if i dont plan on getting Crackdown 3 personally, i’m really curious to see out how this one turns out...
«Awesome game experiences are the fundamentals of the gaming industry».
I can now play with my best friend who only happens to own a Xbox One. I have another friend who only owns a ps4, and he has to keep playing alone or with total strangers while me and my friends have fun with crossplay. So... how exactly does Sony deliver a better gaming experience in this regard? You do realize that you’re applauding a company for being anti-consumer, right?
@Superchiller
Where I come from, having zero interest in something equals not giving it any thought... not clicking on an related article and posting a whole comment about it. Get it and we can play together, i guarantee you that you’ll have fun. ;)
Since when was 7.5 a mediocre score? I’ve seen plenty of 9/10 and 8/10 allready, so it appears to be quite a good game. I know you’re not a big fan of the switch and that’s fine, but for credibility sake, at least try a game before you downplay it?
@JaguarEvolved
That’s funny.. I don’t have time for Fortnite because there’s way too much to play on the Switch right now? i’m still busy with Celeste, Hollow Knight, and Octo Expansion... Mario Tennis Aces AND Donkey Kong Adventure releases next week aswell. On top of that, i’m STILL looking for an oppertunity to dive into Xenoblade Chronicles New Game+ and Breath of the Wild’s Master Mode. I own over 20 Switch games, 10 of them being exclusives and all of having over 80 o...
I feel like the definition of "port" has kind of gotten lost in recent years. "Porting" a game is just taking a game from its native platform and making it run on another platform with the experience generally unchanged. An enhanced port, like MK8D, is a port but adds some new content like characters or items and maybe fixes or tweaks some elements, but is still largely the same experience. Same graphics, same stages, same racing physics, etc. It added a whole new mode, wh...
For me, it’s a tie between Sony and Nintendo.
I still don’t understand how we didn’t see Retro Studios new game. Retro Studios haven’t said a word since they released Tropical Freeze in 2014. And why not show Pikmin 4? Nintendo said it was almost ready back in 2016..
Does the majority of Nintendo fans say that, or does a clickbaity article from yesterday say so? Just asking, because i’m a huge Nintendo fan and I still think 2018 belongs to Sony. Every fanbase has fanboys, and some of them are very unreasonable whitout a doubt... but I don’t think we don’t need to look for excuses or reasons to put one another in a bad light.
It’s a good game but it doesn’t hold a candle to other platformers on the console unfortunately, such as Mario Odyssey and Tropical Freeze.
