Of course the Switch will have another Zelda. I just hope they re-use assets from Breath of the Wild, i really don't want to wait another 5 years for a new Zelda game. The franchise has an horrible release schedule.

@BialyWilk You're right, I didn't intend to come off like that. I actually think anything above 70 is a worthwhile score. I just assume that some people expected more, considering all the comments i've seen here on N4G saying that the game will have at least a score of 90 on metacritic.
The score is currently 87 on Metacritic. The game might not be the masterpiece we had hoped it would be but it's still shaping up to be one of the best games this year. Only three more days.
They'll come running back once they realize how whiny and entitled they've been acting, and once they see everyone else enjoying the hell out of the game. Alien Isolation, Bioshock, The Elder Scrolls, Metroid Prime: the most immersive games ever made just so happens to be first-person. If someone cant accept that, then it is their loss.

I'm gonna have to disagree. I didn't play Super Metroid until three years ago myself, on the Wii U. I thought it was abselutely amazing. Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion is now one of MY favourite games of all time.

It would be an abselute shame if masterpieces like Beyonetta 2 and Tropical Freeze died along the failure that was the Wii U. Those deserve a second chance and many view them as new games instead of remasters since barely anyone got to play them. Besides, i don't think Miyamoto is the one in charge of what gets a remaster and not. He can say anything he wants.

That doesn't really matter as long as they give us new areas to explore, new enemies to fight, new puzzles to solve, and so on. The fundamental mechanics of these games are so good that they don't really need to add or change too many things, some minor tweaks should be enough. One could argue that the third installment of Dark Souls and Metroid Prime was just more of the same aswell, but that didn't prevent those games from being amazing.
I have that question for many of Nintendo's first-party games. Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, and Bayonetta 2 are all games that will be very difficult to improve upon in future installments. I don't think anyone expects their sequels to be as innovative and big in scale as they were, but only time will tell.

Light Yagami, please. His fighting animation should just be him standing still while writing furiously in his book, making all sorts of weird things happen around him. Like summoning a rope over their heads and sending trucks flying towards them. I donno. They could make it work with some creativity. Also, make Ryuk assist him in some attacks
I chose Tressa. It seems really fitting to start with her and go from there, considering how her story is about setting out on a adventure to seek treasure, experience, and new people. The order I chose made OT start out as a lighthearted journey that got more and more serious with every character i recruited...

Oh, for sure. I would much rather have a polished masterpiece every fifth year then a rushed, half-decent game every year. But by re-using assets from Ocarina of Time, it actually only took them 12 months to develop Majoras Mask, and with a smaller team aswell. It's a good thing Zelda games have as much content as they do, makes waiting easier. Played Botw for 300 hours now and i'm only at 65% completion.
