This is one of my favorate games of all time.nice community, servers, developers,w hat more can u ask for.thank you valve.
this is just a taste of what the next consoles will be able to do.nothing sinister about the ablility to interact with ur console.
Supply and demand, thats the buisness creed.DLC was introduced last generation, remember ninja gaiden and halo 2?
Most users have the same email and password account on hotmail and XBL.kinect the dots, lol
Slow month for gaming.
XBL is what i was refering to.the XBL network has not been hacked yet.don,t think MS has not been on guard since the sony breach.they know hackers better than anyone.
Another failed attempt at journalism on N4G.remember gamers MS did not anger the hackers, sony did.has XBL been hacked?,not yet.who every said that XBL is hack free?.all in know is that these hackers have been on a role as of late, attacking everything from the FBI to the government of new zealand and many more.MS is well aware of hackers and there BS.the day XBL gets hacked like psn i will march to redmond washington and camp outside MS headquaters and raise holy hell.
This was a good read.this is an article that was written from the heart and a good bit of massive research.wonderful article. will the 3rd party developers jump on board there new machine?
Japanese developers have to move forward as the west did.developers and publishers are out to make money, western developers are making money hand over fist. everyone knows japanese culture is different than western culture when is comes to games.they better decide what they want to do before the west leaves them in the dust.
If thats what it takes to get a safer online service, then so be it.XBL made over a billion $ in 2009 and sony wants to get that kind of revenue on PSN.free online will not be on the next ps4.its not about loyalty it,s about money and sony needs and wants it.
When the PS4 gets released, free online will be a thing of the past.sony will charge on day 1 for PSN.
Putting out an open platform invites hackers to your product.don,t leave food out for stray animals.
These hackers share a common brotherhood, you come after one of them, you come after all of them. watch your back sony, they dont care about anything private.all they want to do is destroy sony and anything that stands in there way.
MS is going to showcase XBL through skype.total intergration is whats needed for skype in all non- microsoft products.
are you saying not having firewalls on your network does not justify doing right by your customers? whether the network is free or not, sony has an obligation to protecting vital informationg on it,s users.you need to hold sony accountable and stop giving them a pass.at the end of the day sony is responsible for not having a secure network. what about the users who paid for games,DLC,DO THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO COMPLAIN?
not at all,the more psn is offline, the more money is lost on sonys end.i think it,s fair that the beta for uncharted 3 should be for everyone
This was the problem from the begining, added browser means added problem.sony should adopt the closed network philosophy.why is it XBL does not have a browser?when a console or network is too open things happen and nasty intruders walk in and disrupt the flow of things.remeber gamers this is how all this shit started in the 1st place, sony removing the ability to install an OS.the ps4 and PSN most be closed to be more secure.
Each day PSN stays offline money is lost as well is trust.sony has to put this to rest before E3.i guarantee when the PS4 gets released, sony will charge for online on day 1.lack of firewalls is not a good look and it shows how a company does not care for its customers.protecting your investment is top priority, and that is the customer.
I believe it,s not enough.give every PSN user a free download of "UNCHARTED 2" and a beta invatation to UNCHARTED 3 to show your love for the PSN community.a free month of PS+ is a slap in the face.what happeneds when the free runs out?
At the end of the day MS is in a nice spot.XBL is making money hand over fist, the 360 console is seeing YOY growth.they also added new members to XBL,the casuals.i would say they are in a sweet spot this generation.
