"The OnLive client isn’t as open a product in allowing people to do things" that was the most important part of the article to me.having a closed network minimizes the chances of a network being hacked.when the next version of PSN rolls out for the PS4,it will be more secure and a closed network.i say again having a closed network is a best bet to safety and security.
Sony's next console will be developer friendly,or shall i say 3rd party developer friendly.we all know sony's 1st party developers enjoy using the cell to make games for the PS3 and the proof is in the pudding,but having 3rd party devs making games on the ps3 without being a port is a blessing.sony said that they will make it easier for 3rd party devs to make games on the ps4.remember gamers time is money.

This artcle convienently came forward after the NPD report last week.what a terrible article.the 360 is obviously doing well dispite the problem early on in its cycle.N4G reminds me of fox news.whats not right is this old artcle being pushed forward to spin negativity on the 360,sad journaliism on N4G. :(

I would say useless.apps is the way to go when dealing with consoles.when u have an open platform to many things could happen,homebrew,hacking,ect.

This is plain and simple,the majority of games that sell are multi-platform games.if the industry depended on exclusives alone,then industry wouldn,t look so hot.unless the exclusives are halo,gears of war or mario,then this is a mute subject.at the end of the day these developers want to get paid.this whole how many exclusives argument is old.here's a simle question,what games are the top sellers this generation? ;)
This artcle was an interesting read,but there was no proof of the #,s between UC2,GEOW,HALO,KZ.run the #,s yourself and see the bigger picture.look at the release of these major titles and pull the #,s.all i know is 360 gamers buy games,whether it,s exclusives or not,or has nothing to do with have nothing to play.why do 360 games have a higher attach rate?
XBL is the standard when it comes to online console gaming.XBL is more than just online,it,s a vibrant community.voice and party chat is just the small stuff. with the addition of skype being intergrated into XBL,non ms devices will be able to connect to XBL.having an online service without community is a dead online service.
