Nintendo is the only game company I know that got away with re-releasing the same games for nearly 25 years. How many times have you bought mario 1 or metroid 1(not even a remake) on a new nintendo console. Graphics be damned,Nintendo will still do well just because of Mario HD, Zelda HD, Metroid HD, Poke'mon HD and Mario Kart HD.

True, but hopefully the updates come with a full install to by pass all the others. Or a background install like the do with most of the games released now.
I liked FF9 better just because Zidane wasn't all Emo like Cloud,Squall,Tidus, and that kid from 12, don't remember, 12 sucked, and lightning too. Zidane was all about trying to get into princess Garnet's pants. It was such a breath of fresh air.
But that argument can go all the way back to ps2 times. I remeber when the ps2 came out, and the only games I had was fantavision and tekken tag. It almost a year and a half after launch till some good games came out. So what did I do? Play ps1 games on my ps2. I'm not saying was totally bad. Playing mega man legends 2 and other old ps1 games smoothed out on my ps2 wasn't bad at all. But were in the 7th generation of gaming now. No more excuses.
I agree with you Xof. I personally would have been more satisfied if they even waited till this holiday or even next year spring to release the Vita along with a plethora of content. I know it was just released an all, but that just release excuse gets old real quick.
I don't know why every one gets butt hurt about games being similar to others. Nobody considered King of Fighters a street fighter clone nor did they call tekken a virtua fighter clone. An adventure game is just an adventure game. I remember when Uncharted 1 came out and people cried about it being a tomb raider clone. These devs are making an adventure game and pay homage to a great one, leave them be.
