Games for Windows Live is like Xbox Live but it's a PC gaming platform kind of thing. Think of all the functionality of Xbox Live, for PC games.

I'm sure the PC version is the ultimate version of Gears of War however. I just spent 3 grand on a new gaming PC and I still don't think I'd be able to run it on medium settings :\.
Epic's PC games usually carry technology that make it's highest settings unplayable for a couple of quarters until a powerful PC is released that can play it. I could've only ran ULTRA on UT2k4 2 years after that game came out :(

Well I can't understand why anyone would hope for a game to turn out bad. People put their lives, blood and sweat into working for us so we can be entertained.
Same reason I got angry with people putting down that Halo 3 single player screenshot. It looked fantastic, why would anyone want to see any game fail for any platform.

I'm hyped for Lair and Bioshock. There's nothing wrong with liking more then 1 game, theres a handful of people who seem to be so narrow minded with that here at times. That destructoid video with the environments was awesome. Lair is a flying-arcade simulator (like blazing angels, rogue leader and whatnot) with it's own spin. It could be interesting.

I'll just say: They probably said this so people don't hold off on buying one until the price cut occurs (IF it does occur). Say, they weren't planning a price cut and rumours of a price cut got out of hand (and no one is buying eager on waiting for a price cut) it would force them to comment.
I still think a price cut for PS3 is inevitable soon since many people (gamers and devs alike) are pining for one. But then again, I am not Sony, I do not know what they are thinking.

The 360 is a wonderful console with plenty of interesting games. If I was in the market purchasing a console, and I did my market research on what's available. I would pay the extra 100 dollars for something reliable. The games for it will comes this August/September/October.

Same here, never had a problem with PS1 (and that console even got stepped on and thrown once), never had a problem with PS2, or PSP. My PS3 is in a confined area and it's still going strong.
