This is a cool idea. But dont both Sony and Toshiba have hybrid players in development? There is no point in having 2 formats if there is 1 player that can handle them. And the person says that neither is better then the other? Not according to the reviews, but he may have read different ones or something...i guess.
Um, thats 100 ps2 games, not ps3, and thats 1 xbox game, not xbox 360. Why didnt you list the 360 and PS3 totals? embarassed? This game doesnt look that great, Motorstorm and RFOM are the ways to go.
We burned down the White House August 24th, 1812. And also, Canada wasnt even a country back then, and the US tried to invade. We won the war because we successfully defended the country. Also at Fort Detroit, we took it without a fight ;) haha.
Very cool, but I wish they concentrated on a good war, like the one where the british and canadians beat the americans :) War of 1812.
Ok this thing looks great. Also, that commercial, wow. That is the most irrelevant commercial ever. But it was sooo good! and i have no idea why!
I have searched it and the list is copied from about.com, also, this statement dates the list "On a related note, as of March 15th, the official Japanese, North American, and European release date for the PS3 will be November 2006, not spring of 2006" . Killing Day is rumoured to be cancelled, and MGS4 is coming in 2007, among others. Also, RFOM isnt on the list...this article is stupid.

Um how is this pro-anyone? Both HDDVD and blu-ray are affected. This is very interesting news, and im very surprised that Microsoft would make it easy to support blu-ray playback, considering they 'support' HDDVD.
Im personally more interested in Gears of War, offers something new and innovative. However, I cannot say which one is better, nor can anyone else. If you get a PS3, I'd recommend you get this game, because it appears to be the only intriguing launch title. If you get a 360, I recommend Gears of War. Both look great, and even though im staying on the fence, im probably still going to get attacked. Wait, thanks to this fantastic comment system im safe =D. Thanks N4G
The way they were talking about it being the cheapest thing, i thought it would be around 100 dollars. But the difference between the core 360 and the Wii will be difficult to justify enough to vote for a Wii (well for some people). But i will have to try it, and see how it plays. Gameplay will probably be the decider, that and games.
Most of their counter-arguments can be counter-counter-argued. They are often quite wrong, and rely too heavily on rumours. I give their responses a C. They say that the PS3 being "Just another Playstation" is a good thing? One of the basics of business is the fact that you have to continually be innovative, or else you fall to the bottom of the "business steps" because everybody is doing what your doing, so the innovation you once had is now a standard. Microsoft has thei...
They not only had the dev-kits, they would also have to set up their own servers, because that, to my knowledge, is how the PnP will work. Microsoft has their 360 dedicated servers, which all games go through. In order to have online for PS3, the developers/publishers will have to have their own servers. One problem i see with this method is how long will their servers support the online for their games? They will release new versions and want the servers to run the online for those. So about...
Toshiba really seems to want to please the consumer, Sony is just trying to push as much data on a disc as possible, no matter what. PS3 fan, what you said about blu-ray being faster is incorrect, according to the very article you are commenting on. Toshiba's best idea yet is the triple layer disc that has 1 DVD-9 layer. That is engenious. If those dvd's were out now id be buying them. But the bottom line, all these are great, but Sony has only been able to do single layer BR discs (mass mark...
Your Right. Im sorry for this not being relevant to this article, but IBM does not build hardware anymore! Want to know how i know that? Oh, my business teacher is an exec at IBM, and told us first hand that they no longer build hardware. So they may have helped design and build the cell, but the people actually building all of the hardware is some foreign company who puts their name on it. And without enough people to maintain current IBM mainframes, you really think theyre going to make a n...
You know what, im sure that xFire has a lot of experience in developing these types of things, but guess what, its most likely that Microsoft developed the tools theyre using to make it! Microsoft is a software company, this is what they do, its going to be very difficult to take them down. Not impossible, but difficult.
Wow, that was a weird read. He says the online services are different, and then says everything the PnP does, all of which Xbox Live does aswell. He states opinions, and then doesnt back them up with facts. Not very good reporting at all. Also, the tilt controller is a selling point? Actually i was very interested in these controllers, i was looking at a Wii, researching further, however, i realize that i would be doing repetitive motions with my wrists, and after the hours of playing that i ...
This is a genious idea. Bravo Toshiba and Memory-Tech. This will definately bring some support over to HD-DVD. Heck, im almost convinced.
These games do look good, not amazingly life-changing, but good. This will be a good game the way everyone describes it. But having 15+ enemies and 12-15 players on your team and good graphics dont automatically make it fun. It needs to be played to see whether its fun or not. Same with Gears. People who buy a PS3 should definately try this game, whether you think its good or not.
lol yup, theyll buy their console, and theyll be happy, its all good
haha that was a hilarious letter, the european gamer letter to sony!
Man, they are going Xbox Live crazy. They are really offering a lot of stuff. I love this, even though im not at the show, i get to experience whats going on. Thank you Microsoft. And bilal, dont start flame wars, with your broken english.
