i will wait until i see sales numbers of PS3 in europe. After Mai we are maybe smarter. I am sure MS will cut the price of the 360. E3 will bring us maybe again a nice surprise from MS. End of the year iptv will start in the US. I can just imagine how many europeans would love to watch Hi-def tv with a xbox maybe NBA or NFL. Lets wait and see what us MS brings in 2007.
30 years star wars is coming up. I am sure George Lucas will come up with anything special. Star wars back in the theater and a cool next gen game.
but i don't think he would bet on this outcome. MS came by every gameshow with a nice surprise, i can't wait until E3.

600$ is a lot in china. i think 600$ is a lot for a gameconsole without good games. you can see how important the price is in sales numbers from the wii.

i think windows vista will bring us a lot of new things. like live everywhere. i am maybe able to connect to xbox live with my laptop and talk with friends from my vacation and check on things. videoconference or store content on my laptop harddrive. no more need fore 60gig harddrive in xbox360 can store all content on desktop harddrive wireless. wait and let me surprise from microsoft
when i read many comments here it sounds like microsoft is new in the gaming industrie. many from you forget that no pc game is running without microsoft and microsoft is a software company. they see a billion $$$ market with consoles and they wanna have a piece of the cake. they never had a 5 year plan to take over the plan was over 20 years. the same will happen with mp3 players, they see apple having 90% of the market with there ipod and now apple will have never again a year like 2005.
if i buy a 360 just for gaming it is a gamingconsole what i replace in 5 years i save 200$ over PS3. Games are cheaper as ps3 games. if i buy 30 games each $10-15 cheaper. 2011 i have saved enough money to buy the next generation console. in the next console will be the winner of the DVD drives.
why a price cut now? i dont think xbox360 needs a price drop. Right now is no competition on the market. The ps3 will be sold out after 2 hours.I think no price drop until may 2007 is just my opinion.
not out of the box. it's $600+$50tax+50 Hd cable+85 a game +50 a extra controller=$902 inclusive tax merry christmas.
i would not wonder if new dvd player and new dvd,s could output 1080i this dvd's would have more memory. the only thing i would need if i go bigger then 60 inch tv is a hdtv what upconverts 1080i to 1080p.
