All we got in the trailer was cinematics, whilst I am quietly hopeful, I'll reserve full judgement once we see actual gameplay footage.

I remember getting this the first time around on PC. Great storyline, loved the period setting and the gorgeous period music. It was a very well crafted piece of entertainment, so looking forward to visiting Lost Heaven again.

This is really a great month for anyone who has wanted to get into the Uncharted series. 4 is free right now of course and now the collection will be free for the 2nd time. Good news for anyone who missed it first time round.

I can breathe easier now. Europeans won't be subjected to the monstrosity that is the "Purple Breezeblock". I didn't think they would, but you never know sometimes. I remember that being quite a concern when the Japanese and U.S. models were first shown off. Thank God Nintendo saw sense and gave us the curvy Japanese model.

After reading that article, it seems some accounts were taken because uses stupidly used the PSN user and password on forums too. That just smacks of laziness on their part. i have always had a separate email and user/password I use for forums like here. It doesn't take 5 mins to create a google account, something throwaway. keep your important email, user and passwords separate its just common sense.

This is a feature that should have been on the PS4 Pro from day one. It always felt a little weird that games had to be patched to take advantage to the additional power the PS4 Pro offered. I surmised it was a caveat of having a closed system. Now the boost mode makes it much more similar to the way a traditional PC works when you upgrade it. Most PC games don't require a patch every time a new hardware upgrade comes out (unless it's a whole new family). In this case Sony have...

Don't forget that the Barbarian on the cover went on to become Wolf in the U.K. version of Gladiators. I do remember the range of moves was quite impressive for it's time, of course The Flying Neck Chop was always a pleaser when it worked.

The problem is that the devs and publishers seem to be obsessed with making their console games look as pretty as possible in an attempt to prove that consoles can be just as good as a high end PC, this is nice in theory, but as we've seen time and time again here and on other forums, gamers really don't care if a game doesn't look as good as a high end PC, just that it plays like one. With the PS4 Pro here and the Scorpio coming next year, isn't it time that the graphics opt...

Mafia was possibly my favourite game of 2002. Fantastic visuals for its time, truly compelling storyline and utterly gorgeous music from a classic decade. If ever a game was worthy of a HD Remaster/Remake, Mafia fits the bill.

I still game at 1080p as well. I use the extra power to ramp up the AA/AF so I still get some gorgeous visuals. Obviously in the comparison video the most striking difference is the framerate.

This would have been so much more effective if they'd used the same screenshot to truly compare.

The mood during the whole presentation seemed wholeheartedly indifferent, were the journalists there mostly asleep or was there only room for 20 people max. As presentations go based on audience reaction then and there it was not good, a smattering of sporadic applause, isn't very encouraging. I'm not expecting them to howl and whoop with delight, but it seemed as if most of the people there just didn't really give a shit. I'm pretty sure this is also the first time I'...

You know it's entirely possible that if the NX is a home/handheld combo unit and is also android based, that they could easily port Pokemon Go to it as a launch title, All the handheld would need is a GPS and sim slot. The PS Vita launched with the optional sim card version, no reason why Nintendo couldn't do it too. Alternatively of course the success of Pokemon Go means now would be a great time to announce a complete MMORPG for the NX. Go has already demonstrated that there is a...

This generation is in a unique position, Previously Console generations were always playing catchup with PC's in the graphics department. Nw we have PC's and Consoles with more or less identical Graphics technologies, sure with PCs you can always add more polish, (HIGHER AA, AF etc), but from a purely feature set, they can do the same things.

Some I'm sure will agree that graphics technology has slowed to a crawl, the difference between this generation and th...

This puts xbox one owners in a far more favourable position than PC owners. Simply because if an xbox owner decides they want to invest in a gaming PC later, all their digital purchases will be free for them to download to their new PC's where they will be able to enjoy the benefits a gaming PC will bring. For gaming PC owners they will probably not be too interested in purchasing an xbox one or Scorpio because from their perspective why buy a system that plays their PC games but at poo...

The only people missing megatons are the Vita owners, sadly once again conspicuous only by it's absence from Sony's conference. Sony really does seem content to make it a third party only platform, a tragic mistake, even the PSP got better treatment. I imagine that should Sony ever decide to make a successor to the Vita, gamers will be more wary about investing in it if Sony aren't willing to back it up with more 1st party titles. Vita owners deserve more respect than they have...

I really would like to buy it if the specs are to be believed. There are games that would greatly benefit from either a general FPS boost or at least a more stabilized framerate such as Fallout 4, Just Cause 3 and Witcher 3. If developers/publishers promise to provide patches to their games to allow them to realize their potential, than I would be happy to buy a Neo. All too often we've seen 3rd party games where PC has full 60fps capability and the consoles were saddled with 30(ish)fp...
