it will sell big, particularly in the markets you just mentioned. GT5 will be a success, no doubt about that. However, I think that what most poeple are saying is that it will not be as big as the current shooters.
It seems that the markets are more FPS oriented this generation. At least in the U.S.

I am a halo fan and I loved Halo Wars which was made by Ensemble Studios.
Also, remember that the studio 343, that will continue developing Halo games is composed of ex-bungie members.
I also liked ODST, although i accept it is the weakest link.
Further, Ensemble also did a Halo game and it was fantastic.
