Has it ever occurred to you that gamers don't bash the Wii for what it is but rather what it could have been?
I remember when I was first reading about the next gen consoles, the most striking thing about the Revolution for me was it's controller. But then, some months later I found out it's now going to be named 'Wii' and when I saw the games they were no better looking than what I was playing on my ps2. Seriously, for it's relatively expensive price ...
Making toast is a nice feature too, but unless you can show me a game that uses these features that makes Kinect better than the Eye, this device doesn't belong next to my console.
I don't get why so many people are bitching about the pricing scheme since it's only slightly more expensive than the Wii controllers. Here's some things to think about.
Added costs - this is just plain stupid. Everything is expensive when u add up costs. $3 coffee 5days a week? Holy crap that is almost $800 a year!!!!
The bundle contains everything that a casual gamer will need to get started and that is why the sub controller is not included. <...
Seriously can't wait for Move to release especially since I got addicted to lbp.
Slightly off topic: When I first saw this ad, I seriously thought it was some early marketing for Natal. Would have been a good one too.

Another LOK would be very welcome though I highly doubt it will be soul reaver seeing as Raziel... you know.
It is difficult to really know how much the ps3 contributes to Sony as a whole. How many people have brought a new HDTV to better enjoy gaming on ps3? Don't forget the massive role that the ps3 played in securing Bluray adoption, something that will pay off for Sony. The fact of the matter is, if someone enjoys something, they will go the extra length to enhance their enjoyment. I'm sure heaps of people will buy a 3DTV once KZ3 comes out.
You must also consider that t...
Due to your constant bitching about 3D, the entire industry has decided to halt all progress on this technology. Congratulations, you can now sleep at night, troll.
I like to relax when I play my games. You forgot to mention one thing though, no annoying "You have to restart windows to update blah blah blah" while I'm playing.
I don't think it's a simple matter of just hardware. I think game development cost plays a major role. It takes time and resources to make high quality games and I think developers find that it's more feasible to spend their efforts on other aspects.
The other problem is that third party devs are mostly content to release average looking games and Xbox just can't seem to produce a good contender. That only leaves Sony's first party studios, but with no com...
Seriously console and pc gaming has co-existed for decades now. pc games have always progressed at their own pace irrespective of the consoles and now and all of a sudden consoles are holding pc games back? Why is it that pc games have stagnated technically for a few years now?
It couldn't possibly be due to ever increasing game development costs. I'm sure piracy does not have a role to play at all. Or even more ridiculous, it can't have anything to do with the fa...
Seriously it has all I need in an online service and best of all, it's free. I don't know why anyone can justify paying to play online.
I'm not a fan of shooters, but I simply love this game. It does take a couple of levels and a lot of dying to learn it properly though.
It never bothered me that this game was online only because the multiplayer is implemented properly. And the price was right as well. Living in NZ, I pay almost double for games but Sony threw us a bone with this one; it was only NZ$99.
That definitely should be the main selling point for core gamers. Now the DS3 is great, Move will not replace it but should definitely supplement it by bringing new experiences. I just wish my fellow gamers could use their imagination and realise exactly how much potential Move has.
It's all going to come down to how games implement the Move. Shooters have been reported to be very accurate. Move will make RTS games viable on consoles. Imagine how much better a game like GTA would...
Gaming on pc is a chore not a hobby. Some people might care to deal with all the extra crap for slightly better graphics but most of us just wants to just pop in a disc and play.
Not only do u have to deal with hardware failures and software bugs (also present on consoles), but other pains in the ass such as Windows, drivers, incompatibility issues. It's simply not worth it for me anymore, my gaming time is limited already as is.
I have to applaud the pc fanboys for all their great arguments as to why pc is superior to consoles for gaming. But come on we are gamers and you all forgot the most important thing; the FREAKING GAMES.
Seriously what's the point if I cannot play Gran Turismo, Killzone, God of War, Final Fantasy, MAG, Heavy Rain and many more. If you game for fun like most people do, then consoles are where it's at. Friends over? No worries, just play a few rounds of Tekken, FIFA or some Rock Ban...
I have noticed in the past few months that TV adverts have been stating upcoming movies as coming to DVD and Blu Ray.
I was quite surprised that for the Dark Knight one, it said coming to Blu Ray and DVD. Guess it's the beginning of the end for DVD.
You hit the nail right on the head.
LOL
they really need to get back in the game.
$700 for the bundle. If that's the case i'll wait another 6months or so to get a ps3
To a whole.... notha.......level.
