Yea, but PS3 obliviously got Japan. With the PS3 Slim, Cheaper Price tag, And games such as Yukuza 3, Tales of Vesperia, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Trinity Universe, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and the promised by December, Final Fantasy XIII. I think PS3 might be able to Surpass those DSI sales that it makes each month or at least the wii.
Other than that, I believe those in japan already wanted an Xbox360, got one already.
This is very disappointing to hear, a month left until release in Japan and the game is in a sloppy state.
You think by now that any developer would have learned that one should developed first on the PS3 then port it on Xbox360. Look at Burnout Paradise, how amazing it looks on both consoles. I'll still get it for PS3, but I'll till its released to see if it still sloppy or what not.

Yea it might have a negative effect on MS in the future, but as it right right now, they gained the upper sales on Xbox360. MS is only concern with trying to secure Third Party Titles this gen. (FFXII, Tekken 6, MGS:R)
But with Sony, they choose to produce new IP's rather than have timed exclusives like GTA4 and in return they got Agent.

I agree, It's a shame that Forbes and other media sites are trying to downplay the PS3 Slim even though pre-orders have gone through the roof. I mean come on, are you gonna listen to Forbes or the PS3 exclusives?
And It looks like like that early leak of the PS3 Slim worked. It practically advertise itself as it seems everyday, sites like IGN, Gamespy, 1up, Gametrailers, Kotaku would run a story on PS3 Slim/Rumors.

I don't know about you, but that's a really good deal (its almost insane to sell it at such a price) than say buying a Blu ray player separately with an xbox360 or a wii. If I didn't have a PS3 already, I would have definitively picked up a PS3 slim.
Why would you buy a Laptop with a Blu-ray player when you can play both blu-ray and games when you get a PS3 not to mention all the exclusives it has.
