The Vita sales comparison to PSP should answer that. I'm pretty sure Sony has cut their game development budget for Vita way lower than the PSP had.
Lol all the disagrees, must be the few Vita owners. If my reasoning above is incorrect then please explain to me why PSP had hundreds of more games than Vita at this point in the life cycle.
Only two things that can get me back on the godly level hype train I was on before:
1. PS1/PS2 emulators at least anounced in the works for PS4
2. Remake/Reboot/Sequel for The Legend of Dragoon, MediEvil, Ape Escape, hell I will even add Crash Bandicoot announced for PS4.
Other than that there is not much that will do it but some Uncharted gameplay would help and a exclusive first party game that appeals to me would also help. Also actually rememberin...
I don't really understand why Nintendo is going so slow with the Virtual Console on Wii U. It should be loaded with their top games all the way up to the Wii but it lacks so much that you can easily get on PC which will make them loose money in the long run.
Basically the Nintendo and PlayStation brand for me. So many great games growing up.
The Legend of Dragoon and MediEvil were so awesome on PS1.
Reasons I can argue against that:
1. Do all of your friends own both?
2. How do you pick which console to play multiplayer games on since you can't progress in both versions at the same time.
3. Do you purchase Live and Plus on both because if you don't you are not going to enjoy the consoles to begin with.
4. Why purchase X1 when most exclusives come to PC.
5. Why purchase a PS4 when PSN has more issues than Steam and Live combined. <...
Yeah I don't even know what that game is but I can tell by the name it won't appeal to me. But I was more referring to EAs sports games that they throw out every year.
Never finished the sequel or third game in the series but I still think the first Donkey Kong Country game is the greatest Donkey Kong game ever! I still have the first and second one. The new Donkey Kong game on my Wii U doesn't even come close to how amazing the first Country game was and still is.
The X1 is very alluring but I didn't get a X360 and I don't really want the X1. I had the original xbox but that was when I felt the xbox brand was cool. X360 and X1 don't give off that gamer atmosphere to me with it now feeling very Kinect and American centric (Even though I am American I don't like the American vibes from Microsoft, I know I'm weird). So I will stick to the PlayStation and Nintendo consoles which I own every single one they have released.
EA access sounds good because everyone knows EA games are not even close to being worth a $60 price tag. But I wouldn't get it even if it did come to PS4.
Only issues I ever had were when I used the web browser and the whole OS became laggy when I exited the browser. But after the 2.0 update I haven't experienced any OS lag which is great. I still think the messages feature is broken though. I have never experienced any other issues except for random PSN errors when PSN goes down for everyone.

Smooth 60fps over anything in my opinion. But games being set to 30fps is not a drawback for all of them just a lot of them.

So is it simply because they asked or did they throw money at you? I'm actually pretty curious how these exclusive deals go down. Microsoft does it all the time while Sony doesn't do it much. I guess it always comes down to who offers money first and how much they are willing to spend.

I really don't understand the difference between consoles variety in Japan and the US. Why do Sony always release every color you can think of in Japan but in the US we only get black and white consoles. Do they think Americans don't like colors because that's what I think when it comes to consoles releasing here and there. I would love a official blue PS4 and PS Vita.
