I would rather have to rebuy all of our PS1 games than not get a chance at all to own them on PS4 which is what I am suspecting to happen with PS Now and no talk of emulation being done on PS4.

But back to the topic I think I might buy it. I want to know what the big deal is with this game since I never played it on my PS1 back in the day. The Legend of Dragoon, MediEvil, Twisted Metal, and Ape Escape were my favorites on PS1.

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland was the last good one not the start of the bad ones. I still think Underground 1 and 2 were the best in the series though. Pro Skater HD was worse than all three of those games when it comes to just gameplay.

People don't even understand that cutscenes look better than gameplay. Infamous Second Son the cutscenes were a little better looking than the gameplay and I expect the same thing with Uncharted 4.
Hopefully it will share the same frame-rate. The Last of Us on PS4 has the best frame-rate out of all of Sonys tripple a games on PS4.
I found out how to get one right now and way cheaper too. Grab a PlayStation and put it on top of your PlayStation 4 then smoke some reafer and wait a few minutes... and now you have a way cheaper 20th anniversary edition PS4. This is what I did and it worked! I will also say this version of the PS4 finally plays PS1 classics and it's so awesome.
It would be cool if they eventually release a grey PS4 that anyone can buy. I don't see why they couldn't considering they normally release their consoles in several colors. But this is not a good purchase for anyone except collectors.
If it had the same graphics power as the PS4/X1 it could have been way better but it's not. The games by Nintendo and the Virtual Console games are the only reason to get a Wii U. Most of the 3rd party games look like PS3/X360 games but have worse frame-rates. Ok the graphics improvements over Uncharted 3 are great now if they can hit 60fps like The Last of Us and it will be amazing.
But it signals a death sentence for PS1 classics on PS4.
I think the bigger issue here is what this means for the chances of a PS1 emulator on PS4. Since this game is being ported rather than being available as a PS1 classic. It's very disappointing that our only way to play these classic games will be on PS Now which is full of latency even with a 20mbps connection. Plus it's so over priced for what we could purchase the game for. I understand PS Now being the only possible way for PS3 games but PS1 and PS2 is at least possible to emulate ...

I don't want multiple consoles hooked up to my TV, that's why I want PS1 and PS2 emulation on PS4. I have so many PS2 games that I haven't played in forever since the PS3 I have did not support PS2 games. PS1 emulation would be great too so we can hold onto the classics. Only thing that is outdated is their controls and graphics. Besides that they are still great games.
