Good games will sell but high priced peripherals won't unless they are extremely good and not priced too high. But without selling a lot of the hardware regardless of a good game it won't sell either. If this is priced over $300 it will never be a platform to make a lot of money on.
At least they admit free to play is not free to play. They are about the only company who admits it and I give them props for that. Fuck every company who makes free to play games and then has pay to win trash all scattered in it to make it unplayable. Now with Nintendo games they tell me I have to pay if I like it. But regardless mobile games are filled with trash and I hope it dies out. I mean the PSP is way lower spec than most modern mobile phones yet the PSP has better looking and playin...
Now that's a game I really want remade, along with MediEvil.
It could work easily. He said a mini game so there could be a PS1 somewhere in the game hidden like a easter egg and when you go to touch it you get to play a few crash levels or something. I still wonder why Activision is holding onto the ip so much when they have no plans to use it.
I still feel this game lacks too much and it's hard to get back into liking it anymore. The AI in this game is horrible and the villagers need more of a purpose. XP is pretty pointless too. It would be nice if there were more biomes and more random buildings in every biome with stuff to loot. They also need to completely change their weather system because it sucks. I also noticed if you use the bed everyday the weather effects will never kick in on consoles, I don't know about the PC...
Yeah stream them at a lower resolution and with more latency. It does not play most Vita games either or support the small amount of apps the Vita has. Plus the memory card prices are still beyond belief. No real reason to get one of these instead of a Vita if you're even interested in this dying platform.
Did they really just say they expected the game to look as good as the Bayonetta series when that game doesn't look amazing either lol. Star Fox looks just as good as Bayonetta on Wii U. Of course it just looks like a Xbox 360 or PS3 game as far as graphics if we are talking about the scenery but what do you expect? That screenshot looks like a PC game. Actually it doesn't even look like video game graphics just nice artwork which is what it is.
I would like to say a PS1 game but have you replayed them lately? Going back and playing them they are so outdated as far gameplay goes especially my favorite MediEvil. But crash also plays and feels like crap on PS1 now lol. But yeah I would say Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario World still hold up extremely well and are some of the best platformers ever. I wish Sony would allow us to play PS1 games on PS4 similar to how Nintendo allows us to play their classics with a save state function....
AGAIN who the fuck cares about fake characters sexual preferences. I wish these gay highlights would stop happening because I could care less about other peoples sexual preferences let alone in a game. But regardless this game looks like shit. Just because the people making it aren't gay like I know so many are out there, when a gay character is turned straight that does not even come close to meaning homophobic. It seems heterophobia is becoming a thing these days but instead of admittin...
Problem is a million on PC is not the same as a million on console. It cost a $100 for Batman Arkham Knight/Season Pass on console yet on PC it was going for less than $50(I saw it going for $38). If the console version was priced like the PC version every time it would sell so much more but they wouldn't make close to as much money. But who knows which versions sell the most or make the most money. It's difficult to find out accurate physical numbers let alone digital sells. Publishe...
I sit 3ft away from the PS4 and never notice the sound.
Hell yes he would be perfect but I think we heard that he's already declined the roll.
How is it going to be backwards compatible when quiet a few require the gamepad with a screen?
PS1 and PS2 games look like shit on the original consoles no matter what kind of cord you use. I know because I hooked my PS1 up a few weeks ago it was so bad I couldn't even play it, it looked like 144p. PS3 can't play PS2 games except for the ones on PSN which is very few and most of them barely run. I could care less about playing PS3 games on PS4 but having a PS1/PS2 emulator that plays them in HD with filter options I would easily pay for. PS3 doesn't even play PS1 games good...
Lol a Superman game can be made and is in no way impossible. The hardest part and what I think these developers are really talking about are the funds needed to make a modern Superman game. Plus not only do they have to secure these funds but there has to be a huge audience like the Batman games willing to buy it and no one really knows if there is.
The Wii kids went to tablets instead of the Wii U yet Nintendo is still targeting a kid audience that doesn't exist for consoles anymore and didn't buy the Wii U.
No I agree with him. The Wii was a success because of a motion gimmick that captured tons of money from causal gamers aka kids. Tablets seem to be where all the Wii casual gamers went instead of Nintendo's own tablet gimmick. Funny thing is the Wii U is a much better console than the Wii in every way except for sales and support.
I didn't like Uncharted 4 being the last part of the conference either. They acted like they were about to show us a new game announcement but it was just another Uncharted 4 spoiler and I felt disappointed but the awesomeness of the gameplay they showed did help decrease that disappointment. Maybe I'm just still upset that they killed all of their PS1 IP's off. But at least it wasn't as disappointing as the Nintendo conference the next day :0. The Microsoft conference I didn&...
I don't care about PS3 compatibility since we are basically getting all those games on PS4 already but what I want are PS1 and PS2 compatibility on PS4 which Sony should be able to do. I mean they had to of made money from the PS1 games they were selling for PSP, PSV, and PS3. I don't see what's so challenging to port their PS1 emulator to the PS4. They even have a PS2 emulator they could port to PS4 too. Which means it wouldn't mean they would have to make a emulator from scr...
I don't understand why licensing deals for the future are not forced when they originally release these games on the platform. Sony had the same issues with releasing PS1 and PS2 games and as a result not even half of PS1 games were put on the store and less than 40 PS2 games. If I were Sony or Microsoft in the licensing deals I would make it were they always have the rights to have the digital versions of games sold for future consoles instead of just the current console.
