If I was rich I would buy a physical copy of every game for my collection and a digital copy for ease of use. But I'm not rich so I just buy from wherever has the best deal and if there is not any great deals I just go with a digital copy but unlike PC there is never any good digital pre-order prices.

No the first Tony Hawk game I ever played/owned was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. I played THPS1 after the second but thought it was way worse so I sold it and never got into the first game. Then several years later my next Tony Hawk game was THUG and I thought it was improved in every single way you could improve a game. It wasn't until THAW that the gameplay was being changed when it shouldn't be but the story redeemed that game though. Also th...
No it looks like a PS3 game, don't go all delusional acting like this game looks 240p. The graphics are far from the biggest issue for this game. THUG will forever be the best in the series and unless they base the gameplay on it they won't ever be able to make a good Tony Hawk game again.
I recently sold my Sonic 2006 PS3 copy for $5 to GameStop and I thought I was getting way too much for it.
That is actually the only Sonic game I've ever owned... and I couldn't get past the first level.
I only played Skate 3 and it was so much worse than Underground. There is no story mode and I couldn't play online because it required a online code that was supposed to come with it but for some reason didn't come with my brand new copy. It felt very bare-bones in my opinion with no real purpose other than random challenges that I could care less about. I don't know what Skate 1 and 2 are like but in my opionion Skate 3 is the worse Skateboarding game I've ever played and I...
It sucks that it's not emulated yet but it's still amazing what you can do with a original Xbox and mods. I installed a 1.5TB in one along with xbmc and it surprisingly supports 1080i.
It's basically Pro Skater HD with more features and bugs but less nostalgia. I'm sure the only reason they are overcharging for this game is to cover the port job of the last gen consoles. Unless the series receives a huge budget most modern games receive no one will be able to create a Tony Hawk game as good as the original Pro Skaters let alone the Underground series.
It can't be their best when it lacks so many games which is the main purpose of the console anyway. I would say SNES or maybe GameCube was their best.
@Ck1x
No they are just right above PSP graphics and not even close to Vita. Also with the Wii U I think the resolution and frame-rate for most of the games is fine(except for the few third party games that run worse than PS3) but the horrible anti-aliasing in most of Nintendo's games is the worst and most distracting.
3DS games are barely better looking than PSP games and you think the next one is going to have better graphics than the PS3? Even Vita games don't look that good and I don't see Nintendo releasing a $300 portable with better graphics than the Vita. Also the 3DS is a failure when compared to DS and PSP sales but what matters at the end of the day is they make money and they definitely are.
What do you mean by the norm? Steam stats show that more people still use a sub 1920x1080p resolution than 1080p yet you think 4K will magically be used more than both of those? 1920 x 1080 (34.51%), 1366 x 768(26.84%), these resolutions still have that high a percentage yet you think 4K will be the norm in a few years.
Of course I agree buggy games should not be released but fuck every game I've bought on PS4 has been bugged to hell and still are. Saints Row IV takes the cake since they never released a single patch to fix it lol. Also I think all together the old Pro Skaters are probably all better than this(even with graphics and gameplay being a lot more dated than THPS5). THPS5 just has no originality or good originality. It's basically THPHD but with levels they created in the create-a-park mod...
Actually though I only played up to American Wasteland that game was the start of the downfall gameplay wise. They started changing things that were almost perfected in Underground 1/2 like the walking and gravity which didn't need to be changed. They also stopped making levels with skate lines in mind and just started creating cities with no great lines for combos. I still think American Wasteland is a good game because of the story but the Underground series was the last amazing Tony Ha...
I was just playing Pro Skater 2 and this is definitely a improvement gameplay wise though still severely lacking compared to Underground. Also the graphics are a improvement over these old versions on PS2. I mean do any of you realize what 240p 20fps looks like on a PS1/PS2 compared to 1080p30fps on PS4? Even if it is a low budget cash grab it still uses the Unreal Engine. It looks as good as THPSHD and I didn't see anyone saying that was a middle-finger though a horrible remake in my opi...
I just sold my copy of Skate 3 to GameStop for $10 (I was selling PS3 games I didn't want), it's probably the worst Skateboard game I've ever owned. It felt very lacking and the graphics were nothing amazing to me. I bought it new a couple years back and couldn't even play online because apparently it was supposed to come with a code but my brand new copy didn't have a code. But besides that it's just not that fun compared to Tony Hawk's Underground and I don't...
Only buy plus if you're interested in backing up your game saves and playing online. If you don't care about either of those then you don't need plus. Sony should add a media backup feature as part of plus where you can back up clips that you record with the share button.
@Emilio_Estevez
I forgot about Rocket League, I deleted it a week ago because it was too addicting and I was wasting too much of my life playing only it. Now I might have to re-download it... fuck.
I tried starting the dlc but I don't like the character so I couldn't really care enough to get through it. Of course I don't really like any of the characters in the Last of Us and after the time skip I wasn't that into the game but I will admit the beginning I would rate a 10 but the rest of the game I would say is average. I would have been more interested in seeing the story playing out as soon as this zombie apocalypse started until the present rather than play as him whi...
Like Shuhei Yoshida said these analyst change their opinions ever year.
It sucks but I don't feel sorry for people who waste their money on overpriced apple products.
