I remember back when I got a psp at launch I paid $60 for a 8gb memory card at walmart and it wasn't even sony branded.
I don't like gaming that much on computers. I like to relax and play on my couch or gaming chair. But I still do play some games on my PC, just not that much anymore. Keyboard controls are a pain in my opinion but Minecraft is the only exception.
I'll buy it if it comes out on PS4. When is the final version supposed to release?
I will probably get it eventually. I got the eye toy for the ps2 and ps3 so why not ps4 too. But im not interested in controller free motion only move only games. PS2 eye toy controller free was kind of lame but awesome for the time.
It will be no different than it was the previous generation in terms of multiplats but Nintendo won't have as much momentum as they did with the Wii since people aren't as amazed with a touchscreen controller compared to the motion controller everyone was going nuts over. What Nintendo should have done with the Wii is develop a service similar to PSN and Xbox live sooner.

There is a less powerful jump between the Wii U and Xbox One than there was with the Wii and Xbox 360.

Name sucks which I was kind of expecting but they could have gone with xbox 3 or just xbox those are better then just calling it One. Yeah the box looks surprisingly bad, I was expecting something way better. I'm definitely not getting a xbox with my PS4 after watching this event.

I have had 3 PS1's, 3 PS2's, 3 PSP 1000's, 1 PSP Go, and 2 PS3's. I want a vita but the memory prices keeps me from being able to afford one and im not getting anything less than 32GB.

Signed in this morning but I haven't been able to sign in since noon. I still can't sign or play any games online as of 1:00AM EST. But what bothers me is that they don't say what the point of these maintenance periods are for. Are they checking there security or adding security. Or are they working on features for PSNs future.

Hell if it's not even aimed at there current user than theirs no way in hell they will be able to get into this market. Nintendo got the casual market sealed down tight. Sony and Microsoft have a huge fan base and I can't see fans changing over to a PC console maker. The only people I see possible thinking about getting are there current PC makers. 200 Games you must buy alot of 2 dollar games on steam.
Unless you are using a big 40+ inch screen and sit close to it, being 720p instead of 1080p wont really matter. Being 720p does not mean worse anti-alising, textures, or graphics. If 720p bothers you than sit further away from your tv and you won't notice the difference. 720p resolution by no means is bad.
