The only problem I see is if I'm a gamer and know you can play Xbox games on the PC I'd rather get a PC. You get Xbox exclusives and you can play steam games/blizzard games. What I'm trying to say is you have a bigger library of games if you get a PC, AND you can still play your Xbox exclusives. So I don't see why someone would buy a Scorpio and limit their library of games.
"Most gamers" don't know you need to sit closer to your TV to see a difference between 4k and 1080p. That's the truth though, the jump from 4k to 1080p isn't as noticeable as SD to HD. Like you said, all these people are going to be disappointed thinking it's a huge upgrade.
The Division was my number one pick. So much hype around that game. All the exploits and bugs ruined it...
I can taste the salt
Two friends I work with have already listed their Xbox One's on Craigslist, with them having PCs they said they'll either buy games or get better displays (4k).
Yup but we have blind Fanboys that swear it can do 4k/60 fps lol...guess they've never build or know anything about PC specs/performance
Agreed, people that don't know PC specs and performance are just spewing b.s. There's no way the Neo OR the Scorpio can do 4k/60 fps. Guess they can dream until MS back pedals yet again after this E3. I have a 970 gtx with a I7 and 24 MB RAM and unless I get another 970 there's no way I could run 4k. These kids are funny...even with two 970s I doubt I could do 60fps...
He's saying that he might as well get a PC now and sell his Xbox cause he wanted an Xbox for the exclusive. Since they're all coming to PC there's no need to keep the Xbox. He can buy a PC and still play all the exclusives plus play steam games/blizzard games etc. There's no reason to waste money on a Xbox when the PC now gives you more options. The whole reason I have a PS is for the exclusives but if they went to PC why not sell my PS and just use my PC? The whole reason pe...
I actually think it's cool I can play Xbox exclusives on my PC. Only problem is why would anyone buy the Scorpio when they can just use their PC instead? Seems like MS is trying to compete with Steam.
Exactly, all these people going off rumored specs is worthless. We have MS now let's wait for Sony to actually confirm something. I've heard from other sites, Sony will release two consoles.....The most powerful model should release with a whopping $599 launch next year (the same price was tipped for Scorpio as well) and would support two GPUs for a 5.5 teraflops output, about 0.5 teraflops less when compared to Project Scorpio, and the same amount of RAM, so they're both really &...
Correct, I don't think either console will be able to do 4k/60fps smooth. They might upscale to 4k but not be native 4k and I don't recall saying anything about the Neo in my post.
Yeah because 4K is going to be a stretch, at least without some sacrifices to rendering quality. Compare that 6 teraflops figure to existing graphics cards for the PC, and it doesn't bode well. AMD's R9 390X pushes around 5.9 teraflops, but the card struggles with 4K at 30fps. Even a top-tier R9 Fury X (8.4 teraflops), or an Nvidia GTX 1080 (9 teraflops), just barely scrape by lol
People don't understand, 4K is going to be a stretch, at least without some sacrifices to rendering quality. Microsoft didn't even show the design of the Scorpio or a single game running on it, just the specs. Sony will be smarter and hold it's own press conference just for the Neo, showing the design and what its capabilities are. Sony didn't have to talk about the Neo yet like Microsoft cause they still have amazing games coming out for the PS4 and wanted to show case those instead before moving on to the Neo. I don't know why they'd release an S model and reveal the Scorpio at...
Exactly, I have a 4k TV and when I watch 4k videos on YouTube you can see a difference. When things aren't 4k it looks just like my 1080p Samsung. Unless you have a 4k TV you won't notice a difference.
There weren't any surprises really, as in AAA games. They did announce the new console that completely shut down the S in my opinion, why even get the S instead of waiting for the Scorpio lol? There was zero gameplay from the console and no image, just the specs. With them announcing it early Sony can take there time and have a separate conference just for the Neo and build more hype for their console since the buzz will die down for MS.
The sad part is this game's so fun to play I don't see how anyone would want to cheat. I'm always getting plays of the game and having a blast, plus they don't show a K/D ratio at the end of the game so I don't see what the point of cheating would be. They warned people this would happen, if they don't want to listen and keep cheating anyways they should be banned for good.
I could see consoles being the future of "most" games. All they need is mouse and keyboard support really and it's cheaper for most people. I mean think about League of Legends and Dota 2 playing them on the ps4 or Xbox. I've always thought about why Sony or MS don't try for this, it would bring so many people to their consoles.
While I respect everyone's opinions, I've been playing every day ever since it came out. For being a MP only game, I've gotten more play time out of this then some $60 "full games" as people would say. In my opinion as long as a game keeps you busy and entertained you're getting your monies worth.
It doesn't really bother me to be honest. I haven't bought a Blu-ray movie for a long time, mostly stream everything now. I'm sure they'll update it with a patch at some point, Sony is really good at listening to the community.
