Depends on the quality and location of the servers. Im glad im from holland a lot of server parks are in holland or across the river into the uk. But cod network code is fast but halo Reach network code is like Formula 1 car in the beta never had lag so yeah hope they talk with microsoft and get some tips from the Halo:Reach code. If i had to choose i would probably take localized p2p then shitty performing bad company 2 dedicated server.

A lot of first party devs are going multiplat who would have thought bungie going multiplat the same with insomniac this age of gaming everything is possible and now with cryteck and ID getting into console gaming multiplat engine can produce better results then first party dev engines can.
Rare does it to them selves don't blame microsoft if they really were pushed to thing like kinect and they didn't like it. There would be a great amount of devs quitting rare like what happened to infinity ward.
The rare we all knew is died and only good and proper sequel to a old ip can revive them.
Now buying a kinect is really interesting can already see people making motion capturing programs for better indy games. If microsoft is fast enough this could be a good reason for the hardcore to buy it and of course the indie devs.
The game doesnt display the player.
The people you see on screen are just instructors that show how to do those moves. Kinects then follows the player send the data to the game that analyzes it to determine how the player executed the move and give points to it.
See it as a kind of guitar hero where the guy on screen shows the moves and you have to follow them.

That's a 2011 title still far away the gaming world changed i still remember E3 from 10 years ago where you actually could see games that werent released 6 month later but more like 3 years later. You could see a game progress in graphics that was anticipation. Sony still does that with some titles like GT 5 and killzone 2.
Halo Reach it only does everything.
