It's exactly as you said, all companies want to make money, that is true. It's how the companies go about making their money that should concern us, the consumers. Do we praise a company that tricks us? Or do we ridicule a company that, even though they are trying to make money, they are doing so by trying to EARN our dollar by making great services and great games for us to enjoy?

Ok buddy; here's a simple story for you. I waited in line for 8 god damn hours for that stupid wii because it was going to be mind blowing 1:1 movement that I had been waiting for since I first started gaming. Guess what...IT COULDN'T DO IT. The motion controls are a joke compared to the moves. Long before the move was even announced my wife and I gave the thing to her grandpa who plays it maybe once a year.
So then Move comes along...does 1:1 gaming. So...I buy it and...

Wow, simply wow. I remember reading articles only a year or so back that said we would literally have to wait 10 years for 3d without the need for glasses. All I have to say is I am continually amazed at the advancements in technology, it keeps getting better and better faster and faster!
Haha Yeah I can agree with that. I loved how the move worked with the game, it was great. But...I hated the Ruse aspect of ruse T_T. I just wanted to make guys and send them off to battle, and enjoy the strategy of moving guys around like living risk. Not do all of that as WELL as manage like 20 different ruse cards and worry about the enemy using the same, it was just too much for me, I wanted it more simple.

Actually, I've been proud of the ps3 since I bought it at launch for 600. It was an investment because I knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt in my mind (and I told all my friends this many times, but they never believed me) that regardless of anything else, Sony is going to bring massive amounts of amazing exclusive content, just like the did with the ps1, just like they did with the ps2. And also just like those two consoles, it takes years before they hit their strides.
I'd say it's a 9. An A would be a 9.5 and an A+ would be a perfect 10.

Well...I don't own a 360, so I'm not going to talk about 360 exclusives right now...but I will say this. I have Red dead, and it is no where....no where CLOSE to as good looking as uncharted 2, killzone 2 or God of war 3...doesn't...come...close . I actually laughed when I read that. I mean even if it WAS slightly close, the amount of glitches in the game are crazy. It's just honestly not in the slightest bit true.

Great games, that especially were greatly beloved should be followed by enriching sequels. It's when the sequels start becoming incredibly stale and or bad that the plugs need to be pulled. I mean, far more so than Sony is Nintendo, they have been in the console business longer, and have more franchises from their original console on their current one than Sony from what I'd guess.
My ultimate point is...no one really cares ( or shouldn't) that good sequels get ...
