Fantastic game!!!!. It was my GOTY until Fallout: New Vegas came out. Fallout: New Vegas was my GOTY until Gran Turismo 5 came out. :D
Heavy Rain was a new IP. It was not a sequel to Indigo Prophecy.
I am not talking about leveling up to get harder enemies. I am saying that as with most RPGs or games with a leveling system, you are usually eased into things and the story is usually pretty slow for the first few hours. This is not a "bad gameplay desision" its done to make the game accessable to noobs who will hop on the internet and cry out about how the game is too hard to play and that it was a "bad gameplay decision".
My GOTY is Gran Turismo 5.
GT5 is my personal GOTY as well. I do think Super Mario Galaxy 2 should get it though as its the highest rated game this generation and is nearly perfect in every way. The only reason it wont win is because its on the Wii and released early in the year.
It suffers from the same problems as GTA IV for me. The game is great but there is a clear lack of direction at some points in the game. I find myself just wandering around and doing nothing because I have no idea what I should be doing next. It also feels like the same old thing after about an hour of playing. Don't get me wrong I do love the game its just not what its hyped up to be.
i can't wait to see what they have in store for us tomorrow.
Looks creepy as hell. I love it. :)
No, unfinished because I don't have enough time. I don't buy shitty games. I have Gamefly so I can play games I am not sure about. Here is a few of the unfinished games on my shelf:
Alan Wake
Assassins Creed II
Bioshock 2
Borderlands
Fable II
Gears of War
Gran Turismo 5
Halo ODST
Mass Effect 2
Metal Gear Solid 4
Metroid Trilogy
New Super Mario Bros.
No, they should report on US sales. They just don't need to try and spin it like Sony is failing as a company because the 360 beat the PS3 in sales in the US last month.
That may be true but I believe people should be rewarded for their hard work and not shit on because one group of people are mad at another group of people. I guess you have never put that time and effort into anything before. If you have I hope you got the credit you deserved for it.
Actually Final Fantasy XIII does get better the farther you get. This goes for most games that require you to level up. If you don't bother to actually level up before giving a review for these kind of games then you just simply are not very credible. This goes for good and bad reviews.
Stuff like this is a prime example of why the rest of the world thinks us Americans are just self-centered assholes. You people do understand that Sony and Nintendo are Japanese companies right? They don't base the success of their company on US sales alone.
I own all three consoles and I know how you feel. My back log just gets bigger and bigger. If we are just talking about retail releases I have 70 PS3, 12 360 and 11 Wii games. Out of all those games I have yet to finish 31 of them. My biggest problem is I usually buy games day one and don't always get around to finishing them all right away.
You can probably tell I only buy exclusives for my 360 and Wii. I buy all my multi platform games on PS3 because its where mo...
All but about six of those games will also be on PS3 so how does that prove anything?? Take that list and swap in the PS3 exclusives for the 360 ones and then lets see who has the more impressive line-up for 2011.
Same here. I already had the PS Eye so all I had to buy was the controller and games. I ended up getting two MOVE controllers and 1 NAVIGATION controller. I also picked up a few games for it.
Its pretty obvious by the fact that there have been so many hate articles. So many the site gave GT5 its own tab. Name another game that has happened to.
EDIT: This was supposed to be a response to Pipebomb below.
How about we stop building unbelievable hype for every PS3 exclusive. All it does is cause every reviewer to try and tear it down for not living up to th ehype. We all saw this with GT5. In the end all it does is hurt the devs who made the game by them not getting the recognition they deserve.
What issues? I have not seen any yet.
