Got to agree most recent games are simple compared to some of the older games, I usually finish most games in a week or two now, but back then I'd very really complete a game and it'd take some serious dedication.
Plus I'm old now and my reactions sux, back then I was young could see and had some coordination, so I definitely think the people complaining about the lack of modern games just haven't played any of the older games.
The only place where 360 outsold the PS3 was the US, not really a good start for a new slim version of the console.
Anyone else remember playing space invaders in the arcade, and the screen itself was actually coloured to give the effect of more than light grey.
Yes you are right Bigpappy in it is not for me. Apart form the fact I don't own the current xbox (had the previous), this won't make me go and get one.
And I don't buy stuff so my little cousins can play it, that's why they have parents, also the fact they're on the other side of the world, and while I have a little sister, she's married with children so not buying it for her either. So ARB's reason's are not real applicable now are they.
Yup, that's what I've been thinking, nice and shiny looks like xbox boy's are going to have to get use to the world of fingerprints :)
Well even if Kinetic turns out to have only wii type games, it will at least move the 360 into the 2nd console option for me, as it'll have all the pluses of both a wii and the current 360.
Basically once the price gets to good not to buy is when I pick up the 2nd console.
That would be a big cash hit for MS if that's the case, but it's states above "two version of the camera" and the price is for the more expensive camera, so I think we're pipe dreaming about getting the camera and console for $189.
Looks like a black PC, need to see pic's of it and the current model next to each other, to get a good idea of size.
Hope they've put the brick inside the console this time.
Classic England goalkeeping to let USA back into the match.
What is it with English keepers and blunders?
Title say's it, I get a few of the xbox/PC titles for my PC (ME2) but mostly I use it for my MMO fix now. Everything else I get for my PS3.
But I'll be getting at least Starcraft II and Civilization V as non-MMO's for it, Just nice to have the option I think :)
FF13 definitely a difference between the DVD version and the Blu-Ray version.
FF7, lots of movies especially when animals die, not so concerned when humans die :)
The funny this is M$ probably pay company's not to make the PC version.
Only reason I can see or not making it on both systems.
The other thing is when the Wii2 comes out how many of those 1st time console purchasers will upgrade there Wii to a Wii2?
I know a few people who haven't bothered to upgrade yet due to being happy with there PS2.
Hank, the other thing to remember is that the dev company will release upgrades (not patches), and even free DLC. Both of which you don't get in your car, music or house examples.
So they just worked out what causes it.
Been around since the day's of arcade machines, I remember getting bruises and blisters from playing Galaga, just keep playing they'll turn into a nice callus :)
Except they advertise "Enjoy High Definition gaming and movie playback", I never saw an ad with the OS option, I don't even think it's on the box (will have to check).
I'm a PS3 owner, and have always liked Bungie as a developer, owned marathon, and Halo (reason I bought a XBox).
Will be cusious to see what they produce next, would love to see them work on a FPSMMO, something similiar to planetside would be great, and still working with there strengths.
I don't mind slow starts on the 1st play through, but there are a few games where I've gone damn this and stopped on the 2nd play through due to an over lengthy (non-skip) start.
Although this is where a save game can save a game for me, especially if no real big choices are given to you in those 1st few hours.
Maybe but it was probably in $NZ which ain't worth a lot vs $US.
