The reason you have more PS3 news on N4G is Sony has more stuff going on. MS hardly announced anything beyond casual games this E3. It was mostly last years E3 all over again.
In the run-up to E3 while MS was quiet there was all kinds of news about the Move, LBP2, KZ3, Infamous 2, Sly Cooper Collection, PlayStation Plus.
I for one am sick of the lists. Who cares which game character has the biggest boobs?
It will really make you mad when you find out the Mods and Admins control about every aspect of N4G. With the new site design you can't even expect your article to remain featured for 24 hours.

For loading games off SSD yes, for installing games, not much benefit as the bottleneck is in the BR Drive.

Fantastic read, this guy brings up many points an some of them are the white elephant in the room no one was talking about.
It's the devs inability to deliver on their own hype. They believed too much of their own BS. At the end of the day it cost them the studio.

I don't get it. MAG delivers what many Military FPS's prentend to give you. REAL TACTICS. No you can't just spam grenades and camp. You have to work with your friends.
Most people hating on MAG only played the BETA. There is a reason they call it BETA.

So XBL has all kinds of features that PSN lacks. Did any of you consider that maybe those features help contribute to the LAG that most people report as a problem with XBL?
I mean if you add more and more connected features it eats into your bandwidth.
Has anyone stop to consider that the additional features on Xbox Live could actually cause more congestion on the network and may contribute to the higher degree of LAG on XBL vs. PSN?
The fact is PSN delivers a pretty Lag free experience (with the exception of BF BC2 lately). If you keep tacking on features to the network that require bandwidth it will eventually have an effect on the infrastructure.
Do I want cross game chat? Certainly, but not at the cos...
