I hope this game can be the next No Man's Sky turnaround story.
Yea. My thoughts exactly. I'm definitely playing Horizon then Elden Ring. Cyberpunk can wait a little longer. Also interested in Ghostwire. Maybe I'll get to CP2077 by summer.
It's like he signed his life over to Sony. I don't understand it.
Yea, I stopped looking at these sales a long time ago. Amazon no longer has the best prices. The deals I got at Gamestop in December far exceed anything I gotten or seen on Amazon in recent memory.
Followed this for SO long. Glad it's finally released.
Same! I've been watching and following E3 every year since '03 or '04. I used to take days off work just for it to not miss anything.
But those days are long gone. Companies have moved to doing their own thing and more spread out. Other events have more than picked up the slack. E3 is only big in name recognition now. And that's fine. It's sad, but it's time to move on.
I always go through the website. It was all just down for a while yesterday it seems.
I finally got it after a while. But it was real bad for a while.
Trying to claim them and the store keeps crashing. lol.
@sourOG
I also feel bad for your definition of "hardcore gamer".
Bragging about buying games on launch day and paying full price has nothing to do with being a hardcore gamer. It's about playing and enjoying the games. Doesn't matter when they're from or which system they're on. You play because you love it.
I've said a million times, I'd never trust modern Ubisoft to make a new one. But a remake could work. However, I hope they don't 'Prince of Persia' this remake and actually put some effort in.
I feel your pain. I had 5 consoles replaced. After that I sold the 6th and final working replacement console and switched to the PS3 and never looked back. Best gaming decision I've ever made.
There is no hope. Even if they really are making a new game, you don't want it. It'll be open world, online multiplayer, monitized, live service, etc.
There's no way they make a story driven, single player only stealth action game. The Ubisoft of today is not the Ubisoft that made the original games.
You're right. If there was 1 company I could count on during those days, it was Ubisoft. Splinter Cell, R6, Ghost Recon, early Assassins Creed, and many more. Holy crap how they've fallen. It's really sad.
I still don't even care what NFTs are.
As much as I want Elden Ring, I think I want this more and will play it first.
Still get hyped in the very first level when that music slowly intros and kicks off.
If they didn't shoehorn in that multiplayer mode it probably would have. But they knew the multiplayer was trash and wouldn't sell, so why not combine it with a short single game and list it at full price.
I got the whole package for $15 last black Friday. Glad I waited. Campaign was short, and never touch the multiplayer.
"Sales grow but profit drops"
Yea, that'll happen when every retailer under the sun is unloading your latest game for $10 a pop.
Same. And Ghostwire. Maybe summertime for 2077.
