HDD install. I install my games on my 360, take em off when I'm done. I'd prefer HDD installs to be honest. Saves wear on my disks. I get occasional scratches on both my 360 & PS3 so I always install if possible.
In any case I'll be buying this on my 360 as all my friends are on live and game swapping saves money.
The sooner we move away from disks the better IMO.
Didn't Microsoft publish the first Mass Effect. I bet they own publishing rights to the first game.
Second is by EA.
I think the PS3 will get Mass Effect 2 & 3, but not the first due to publishing rights.
Oh how about the fail of this article.
It would help if the author knew about the game.
The all speak english? WTF? if he had played the game and read the codexs he would now why.
In the ME1 codex, it is explained that they are all speaking their own languages - sub-dermal implants in your brain allow you to "hear" it as english.
Fanboys lol
Why do you Sony Fanboys care so much that Mass Effect is coming to the PS3 ? You keep telling us you buy it on the PC, so why would you want two versions of the game.
Secondly even if it does come to the PS3, I doubt you'll see it till after Mass Effect 3 comes out on the Xbox and PC.
Great, looks like my one and only purchase for my PS3 this year looks good. Day 1 buy for me.
As for GOTY, depends. If its GOTY voted by the public, then no. Simply because people that vote forget anything that comes early in the year. If it's magazines or online sites then maybe.
Anyway it's way to early to start nominating GOTY, most of the contenders are not even out yet.
I never played 2, but I did buy and play the original on my PS. Had my PS and everything hooked upto my music system.
I remember turning out the lights and cranking up the sound.
Awesome
Original FTW!!!!
Fictional, lol no I have a PS3, XBOX and a Wii.
Can prove it too. Same PSN gamertag as my user here. Plus I take a picture with your Kakihara if you so desired.
Accuse me all you like of not having one, but I can prove you wrong, just like that.
It just makes me laugh if Microsoft advertise their games on drinks, you Sony fanbouys jump down their throat for hyping a game, yet Sony do it and you all rushing down to 7-Eleven to grab a drink.
Cho cho here come the hype train........
I donno why Bioware would want to release it on the PS3 anyway as all you Sony Fanboy's buy it on the PC anyway, or so you keep preaching.
As it is I wouldn't buy it on my PS3 anyway. Prolly be a gimped version just live every multiplat that comes out.
So the unhackable became hackable huh.
It so amused me how the Sony Fanboys ranted on for the longest time how the PS3 can never be hacked, how it is impossible to hack it. You know when you start gloating, someone is going to work hard to prove you wrong.
In anycase i'm gonna leave my PS3 alone. I just don't see the point.
Yes dude but I can say the same. I have like twelve or thirteen games i want for my 360 and 1 for my PS3.
It's called personal choice.

Alan Wake
Fable 3
Mass Effect 2
Rage
Harry Potter Lego
Alien vs Predator
Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Regarding Halo being on two disk.
With Halo 3 matchmaking you couldn't, or rather you shouldn't install the disk to the hard drive, it slows down load times during matchmaking.
ODST came with campaign and firefight on one disk and multi-player on the other. With two disks I could install ODST Campaign and firefight to the hard drive without having to install matchmaking.
If matchmaking on reach has the same issues when installed to the hard drive that H...
OMG we have to get off our couches a couple of time in forty hours?
The only ones complaining are the one who are to lazy to use parts of the body they call legs.
Both my Xbox 360 and PS3 have had issues.
Had the RROD on my 360 which was fixed for free my Microsoft. My PS3 has a tempremental on/off touch switch, which Sony refuse to do anything about.
Basically I can game on my 360 and Wii, but when I want to game on my PS3 it's pot luck whether the thing turns on or not.
personally i think this stated 10hours of game play is dependent on who they base this of.
Your grade A gamer might only take 6-8 hours of gameplay to finish it, as your average game might take 10 or longer.
Generally I've found that these statements of length of gameplay is exaggerated on the most part.
That goes for both sides by the way.
It's the only game I want for my PS3 this year so I'm interested in a demo to see if I want to buy or rent.
The only reason why it seems that way is because most have mics as apposed to the Playstation kids that do not. Mommy and Daddy forgot to buy it because it's not packaged with the console.
Frankly it doesn't bother me, there is a thing called mute.
I wish Sony would package mics with their consoles. Team games on the PS3 are awful. How can you play a team game on the PS3 with no mics. Played team games on my PS3 and if there is one person with a mic you can guarant...
You fail. Read the article, not just the headline.
- Halo: Reach's graphic engine is NOT new. It is a heavily modified Halo 3 engine. - WRONG! Bungie already stated it's a new engine.
I'd trust Bungie a lot more than some article that is translated from German to English.
