I thought Microsoft had a very good conference. It was very well rounded, but there were no huge announcements which wasn't a bad thing, but I was expecting one. Next up Nintendo and Sony.
Games
Left 4 Dead 2 (Way sooner than I thought but I loved the first one)
Forza 3 (Not really a Forza fan)
Crackdown 2 (First 1 was good, hopefully this one adds more)
Alan Wake (Most anticipated 360 exclusive)
Splinter Cell Conviction (Will be the first ...
The graphics are fine as they are now, but even better graphics can't hurt. But all I really want is added gameplay, and a epic bad@$$ ending for the series.
OMG thank goodness I waited before buying a PSP 3000. Now I can decide which one I really should get. If the PSP 3000 gets a price drop then that might make my decision a little harder, because I want the PSP Go!
My PSP 1000, broke so I stopped buying games and thankfully I didn't really buy games. Now I won't feel bad about starting over.
I'm going to get it still, but ALL the fighting games this gen have not met any of my standards (Fight Night being the only exception). None of them have tried ANYTHING new, besides online vs modes.
TO bad the game doesn't look like the picture for this article that looks good. (wink wink)
I can't wait to see how this game sells, and how many consoles it moves in Japan. Japan is in a distant last place as far as home console sells go. If FF13 can't ignite a enormous spike in sales for the PS3 (I'm talking 1 million consoles sold that month) then it's pretty safe to say that Japan wasn't ready for HD consoles or their no longer in to home consoles. Even the Wii hasn't passed the 10 million mark so here's hoping Monster Hunter does great things for them as well. Microsoft has...
Ugh. I'll be glad when E3 does get here I'm so sick of all the speculation and rumors, just show us everything you got.
I believe they should make a 911 game. I think this would be a step in the right direction for making games 1. For mature audiences, and 2. to get games recognized as an acceptable form of entertainment rather than how games are currently portrayed.
911 is delicate subject matter, but if handled correctly this could be a great success for the gaming community. Now who should develop the game story wise Quantic Dream seems to be the right developer since they dabble in mature th...
I choose Pixel Junk Rescue as well since you have to save the little Pixel Junk people
LMAO PJ swinger
I said PJ Garden jumping swingy thingy
Agreed there shouldn't have been a contest if they were going to choose shooter. They could have pulled shooter out of their own @$$.
How unoriginal. Really Pixel Junk Shooter.
I'm surprised the first games weren't PJ Cars, PJ Towers, and PJ Garden jumping swingy thingy.
I thought of Pixel Junk Shooter, but it was so generic that I decided to use Pixel Junk Rescue since you have to save the little people like things. Guess I should have stuck with Shooter.
Good. It was a good game, now Capcom it's time to modernize the gameplay for the next installment. It doesn't have to be a complete revamp just upgrade the gameplay experience like Metal Gear did from 3 to 4.
@ 1.2
You didn't read my entire statement. I said "Gamers" are people who play games while "True Hardcore Gamers" are the people who:
1. Have experienced classic games.
2. Spent a percentage of their lives in arcades.
3. Buy multiple console to experience as many games as possible.
A "True Hardcore Gamer" can be categorized into any of these categories. While a "Gamer" is someone who plays games. ...
Anyway a gamer is a person who plays games whether it's monopoly, internet spades, or whatever.
But a gamer as in a true hardcore gamer, is someone who's experienced games from it's roots. NES, Sega Genesis, etc... Those of us who had that experience are "Gamers" to me. Those of us who spent hours in arcades trying to get our skills up because we didn't have the game are "Gamers". Those of us who have the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PSP, and PC's are "Gam...
Ugh. How many times do I have to post that you can use this coupon and get 20% off and use the EDGE card and get another 10% off. So it like getting 30% off and for those of you who argue that they don't add the percentages together, so what even if they don't (at my gamestop they do) you only miss out on no more and 2 - 3 dollars max.
Used games for $55 drop to 38 (which is a great price especially if the game just came out) with the EDGE card with this coupon, and together th...
Am I the only person who thought this looked good? Some of the pics were absolutely amazing, and some weren't as good, but those that weren't as good were still better than 80 - 90% of all current gen games.
Crysis will still be one of if not the best looking game of this gen. The thing that makes Crysis look so great is it's environment. Everything about the environment breathes life, and looks so amazingly detailed that the character models stand out as the weak point of the...
I've always thought PS Home should have had more of an MMO feel rather than a Sims or Second Life. Home is shying away from the later two more with each new Home space added, but again it needs to become a place for gamers to play games. The interaction part is already there they just need to get the games their to make it for gamers.
Home needs a huge arcade space where you can get together and play classics like Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, and more against other gamers. ...
From what every1 is saying I'm guessing this is the PC version and not the 360 version. I was going to say this is the best looking console MMO if it was.
