I was gonna say supermarkets are ridiculously cheap. Picked up FIFA and cod for £26 each launch day from sainsburys. Guarantee you they'll be doing something similar for Gta. They sold wii u premium pack at £269 launch day.
I had mine a week and returned it to amazon. dedicated Handheld gaming devices are DOA nowadays. I have no doubt that they're better than iPhones etc but they're normally meant to kill a few mins and I just didn't find my vita getting any use after a few hours the novelty wore off.

Mario, smash bros, zelda, mario kart. Rinse repeat, every gen. And people slag off halo for getting rinsed. I'm fed up of nintendo now. I grew up on my snes. Such a shame to see what a joke they've become in the hardcore gaming department. The wii u will bomb, hardcore gamers wont be duped into Thinking it will have hardcore games. And the casual crowd have no need to upgrade their consoles.

I may have indirectly led to their demise. I stopped buying games in ther store about 6 years ago. Been using a combination of amazon, play, gameplay and shopto for a long time as games get to you before release date, and they're normally about £10 cheaper.

I returned mine. Near could never find my location, played five online games in Fifa every single one of them dropped connection. Before you say it's my connection id like to say my ps3 and 360 always have solid connections.
Also the thumbsticks were too weedy. And when holding it my hands always covered the back touch pad so that wouldn't have gone down well
Didn't realise that. If you go to www.gameplay.co.uk it says they are now under gamestation. They've basically ceased trading. They're defo going under.

This just doesn't happen on Xbox live. Every other time I turn on my ps3 I seem to have to do an update. Ridiculous.
I'm exactly like u lex, got ds's but that's to keep the kids happy. I've been following these stories when someone told me in the office A few weeks ago that a new psp was coming out. Since then I've been on here checking out all the stories and momentum is growing. I think this will be brill. Pretty much a handheld ps3 !!

Vita looks awesome. Im holding out till a proper FIFA game comes out though. I wonder - will it have anything similar to ds download play? I thInk the ds download play is an amazing feature and increased sales of handhelds blatantly. I bought one copy of most games on ds but me the missus and the two little uns could all play mario kart, mario party etc off one card.
The vita needs this feature! Then I'll buy four of them!
My plan is to tether my phone 3G to vita. Will this mean I can still use near? Or is near a 3G only app? Also it may be beneficial to tether as vita will think its on wifi and hence allow me to download apps over 20 meg etc.

I'm concerned at no L2 and R2 buttons. Can you do remote play from ps3 to vita with FIFA 12?
If vgchartz are relatively accurate that means ps3 sold 4 mil versus 6 mil for Xbox and 6 mil for wii.
