R.I.P. to Hiroshi Yamauchi. You were the greatest president gaming has ever seen.

I already posted this a while ago in another article, but I think it feels just as appropriate here:

If women want to be represented more in gaming, then feminists have to understand that ALL types of females will be portrayed...not just the strong, smart ones that they'd conveniently like to see portrayed. In the REAL world, there are princesses who sadly seek men to rescue them in life, there are tough, business minded women too. There are also promis...

Makes perfect sense. Same reason for why i'm keeping my PS3 when I get a PS4.

@forceful:

Hugh Jackman WOULD make a cool Solid Snake in a movie, but as for being Snake's voice-over in a game--I don't think his voice is strong enough. But if it is him, we'll see with time.

But either way, whoever is the new Snake V/O, it likely will also be the movie actor...based on the specific ways that Kojima dodges the questions while still being stubbornly adamant about still keeping this new V/O actor (who I must admit is decent, but c...

Where can I get the FULL hour of the interview, instead of that 17 minute edit that Geoff Keighley shortened up?

Damn sorry dude, i meant it to sound metaphorical. As if to say "Don't be LIKE a fanboy". It sounded different in my head when I wrote it. Honest.

Play the demo before you do. I played through both of the other Army of Two's with my wife and we liked them. But the new one feels different. The camera system also sucks now as it feels like tank controls. That's bad for a 3rd person shooter because if it was gonna make me move like a tank game, it might as well be 1st person. But we liked it because it wasnt 1st person, we prefer 3rd. So the disapointing movement, the terrible A.I.--they just stand around sometimes, is just NOT wor...

@ Matt:

Who gives a damn if he didn't know who the developer was? He still doesn't like the game and gave very clear, precise reasons why. I LOVE japanese games, but don't be a freak about it. The dude gave good reasons as to why he thinks it isn't good.

I'm not saying I agree with him, as I have not played it. But it's his opinion, and it's a well-thought-out one with detailed explanations for WHY. YOU on the other hand are unable...

"The real problem with feminists is that they get things COMPLETELY backwards. Women in games are not depicted that way because that's the way men see all women. They are depicted that way because that's the way developers see all male gamers."

^ RIGHT THERE! AGREED!

You said:

"Considering that most of the news and comments by most is anti-Nintendo, its clear that Iwata stepping down would be a horrible idea for the company and that he is doing a great job. If he was truly responsible for any major problems the no one would be asking for him to step down."

What kind of deductive reasoning...? That statement makes no sense at all. That was like written in backwards-bizarro speak. How does people on forums asking ...

Of course that's to blame. Why sugar coat it? If EA could make money on the Wii U, then BF 4 would have been their best bet. But there is no money to be made (at the moment). Plus let's not forget to mention the whole ORIGIN fiasco too.

I don't have any idea what u are talking about. I don't think u understood my message at all...

I said:
"There are all types of women in the world. Just like there are with men. Not just what the feminists conveniently want to see."

So when u say: "But all women like men have their strength's & weaknesses."

How is that contrary to what I already said? Did I confuse you? lol.

In his interview with Geoff Keighley, Kojima said that he doesn't want to reveal who the voice actor is, however he hinted that it was important to him that this person do the voice.

ONE possible theory, for me, is that MAYBE the guy doing the voice is the same guy who will BE Snake in the new MGS movie. Maybe that's why he doesnt wanna say his name. I mean, if it's just some random other voice actor, why not just say his name? If u listen very carefully to the vo...

The more you idiots keep clicking these sexist (yes, that's what it is--it puts women on a self-pitying-pedestal that divide's the sexes instead of dealing with the real, actual gender issues that need addressing in gaming), the more u click these articles, and give them high hits, the more they will keep fabricating more stories to get more money through hits.

Don't click. Not until they realize that the ONLY fair way to represent women is to represent ALL KINDS ...

Dude u bought up a good point. The reason why it's taking so long is because Atlus only JUST NOW got the idea that they should make a NEW engine from scratch. Pretty dumb to start this late huh? They been using Gamebryo since Persona 2 (PSP version), all the main SMT cannon games (ps2 versions and new 3ds version), and even Catherine (ps3/360). That's why there were never any excrutiatingly long waits for the next game in the series. But now they wanna start from scratch. All power to...

I think that the biggest reason why we see more Western games rather than Japanese is because of a lack of toolset experience in the Japanese dev community. They don't use Havok, Unreal, and all the other mmiddleware that the West has used to drastically shorten development time. The amount of money and time that it takes to make a AAA game today is time consuming and expensive, so middle ware makes it a faster and cheaper process.

The problem with Japanese devs is that t...

Dude, Mark Rein said that last year. He stands corrected. Hell, he was the one to change his mind. He NOW knows that Wii U cannot handle UE4. Maybe he thought it could, but once he put it into practice, it failed to work.

Now YOUR gonna sit here and try to correct him?? Seriously? Then have the nerve to blame the guy who chose to post this article here on n4g, and also blame those who approved this article (which is fact based--not opinionated article).

Nah i'm not intending on bashing. i'm just sick of being bored. I dunno what it is but shooters don't grab me anymore. It's like, once your good at shooters, no other shooter is challenging anymore because their all essentially the same: Aim and shoot. If your good at that (like I am) then all shooters start to blend into looking like the same damn game. Yes, I'm aware that bf3 has vehicles, but the shooting is the main event. And frankly i'm just losing interest. Mayb...
