Uhhh, but Sony and MS have Ubisoft AND EA. It's not like Wii U gets Ubisofts games exclusively to cover the lack of EA games. Heck, ps3 and 360 straight up jacked Wii U for Rayman exclusivity.

Yeah the deals they make are in accord with the publishers. Look at how we got Demon's Souls free just 1 week before the announcement of Dark Souls 2. That was no coincidence. It was a clever way to stir up interest in their sequel. So publishers win, and so does Sony and gamerz (well except for xbox and nintendo fans, but that's not Sony's problem)

All Square has to do is lower their sales expectations. They have to understand that Tomb Raider is 3.4 million copies of games that they would not have ever sold had the game never been released. So, they should just make sure that the sequel's budget reflects those sales expectations.

I got an idea: What if Tell Tale did Star Wars games? Now that Lucas Arts's game studio is done, they should allow other studios to make future games and spin-offs, without tying the franchise down to only one company/developer (like how EA has ruined Madden and no one else can licence NFL games).
