Great article, I thought it was totally on-point.
The article says: "A look at how retailers are hurting themselves and Nintendo by treating Wii U games like a red-headed step-child."
Oh yes, of course--the retailer, who put space aside for the games in their already crowded stores, and would lose potential profit if it didn't sell, CHOSE to conspire against Nintendo :/
This sounds like it's in line with the kind of crazy stuff Nintendo fanatics like to say (not Nintendo FANS--but the fanat...
A new Mother/Earthbound game is long overdue
Dude how could u have skipped Galaxy 1 & 2? I have them for Wii and they are my favorite 3d platformers of all time. After that, then it's Sly Cooper 2, then Mario 64. Get Galaxy at Gamestop used asap. SMH.
You said: "This nostlagia argument is just another ridiculous insult used to dismiss Nintendo success like "gimmicky" and "casual" before it."
Your kinda being paranoid. Nobody is "out to get" Nintendo (as the phrase goes). If it's a COMMON complaint amongst people, then it's probably a valid one. Just because you disagree, it doesn't mean that everyone else is conspiring against Nintendo. Your probably the type of guy who w...
Red is icky. I jk/
Yeah, but is there anything wrong with producing new IP's too (on consoles, 3ds does a good job of that, but Nintendo needs new IP's too for the Wii u, AND 3rd party support, or else the only one's who will care are the Ninty fans). I buy consoles because the games appeal to me, not merely because of the name of the console manufacturer.
The first wii had some new IP's but they were mostly app-like games for casual/exercise people. And the Wii U doesn't ev...
I honestly can't vouch for RE 6, as it was a lazily-made game. Nothing in it felt original. Neither did it have any ties to it's past. It just felt like a shameless westernized Gears clone.
Two games that I loved, that were considered bad, were SaGa Frontier 1 and Lemmings 3D. They were amazing games, and have a cult following, but many people just couldn't understand/feel them. But I not only think they are underrated, but 2 of the best games I own. And I own lik...
For Metal Gear Online fans, I hoping it's MGO 3 related (for MGS V).
I loved that card game from FF 8.
I don't eat any snacks while i'm playing. How the hell am I supposed to keep the controller in my hand, and not get crumbs in it? Damn, do one thing at a time.
I'm hoping it feels like more than just BF 3.5
Man that looks too nasty for me. I'll stick to Trauma Center instead.
Good lawd man, you've got a whole lotta bubbles!
Soul Sacrifice.
Ok so maybe it should have been called a trial version instead. Not worth crying about. It's a deep game and 10 minutes is too short for a game like this since westerners are not used to monster hunter games like japan is, so some of us need a slow and steady introduction on how to play it.
Your complaint has just been answered.
DS and 3ds gets a lot of innovative titles, but they need to do that for their console too.
The article IS on point. I tried to give Nintendo more slack since E3 is coming up, but if the latest reveal of games are any indication, then it looks like more sequels, less new ip's.
Is it? Is it really okay? Or rather, I should ask: Is it enough?
I am of the opinion that Nintendo should also develop a lot of new IP's. I mean, why not?
Article says: "There used to be a time when the graphics of a game would define how good it was"
I say: WHEN was this?!
