U might have a good point there. I was just throwing out some idea's. Either way, there's no way Wii's sales numbers can be replicated again without getting the casuals to buy the Wii U for the same reasons they wanted the Wii.

oops I mean her name is "katee sackhoff". That other name was her Galactica character's screen name (when not using starbuck alias).

Why aren't any Wii U games (or at least not many) using the Wii-mote? Imagine Star Wars with the Wii-mote (and wii-motion-plus for added accuracy) and using it as a light sabre (and nunchuck for navigation).

Also, the Wii game pad could still be used too for menu's, and perhaps controlling ships/millenium falcon.

Even if EA doesn't wanna invest time making features exclusive to the Wii-mote and touch screen of the game pad, they can consolidate t...

The correlation Sessler makes between Shakespeare and the Colosseum-style blood-baths that were enjoyed by one-in-same audience who enjoyed the same sophisticated plays/drama's, was a good way of describing the complexities of people. Just because one engages in sophisticated forms of art, does not do away with the fact that many people (not all) can still relate to the brutality of real-life. Of course, maybe Bioshock Infinite (and those subsequent violent live animal cruelty "shows...

That's what i already said:

"Yeah, I think that if they remind casuals that all their wii games, wii motes, and weight scales still work on the Wii U--AND convince those same users that NEW games will come out for the Wii U that still use older tech such as the Wii-Mote/Wii-motion-plus and the old wii scale, then they would see it as a console that can also tend to their motion gaming needs. Without the added focus on "ease-of-play" mechanics, the casuals w...

She reminds of Starbuck from Battle Star Galactica (the same actress also played Dana Walsh in the final season of "24"). Her actress was Kara Thrace. She could definitely play a believable sci-fi bounty hunter (like Samus). Plus she looks just like this rendition from the Samus image in the article (but I think Kara is still prettier).

Not if u have PS plus. This article just didn't cover that. We're getting Sleeping Dogs. So it's only slow if u already have that game, or are not a ps plus subscriber.

@TheSuperior: In most of your comments, You praise COD as if it isn't a stale P.O.S.; you say that MS is more hardcore despite it's focus on apps and Kinect, and no exclusives); and use Saints Row 3 as your avatar.

You couldn't be more "bro-dude" if your name was Cliffy B.

Yeah, we should really give your opinion's serious consideration. s/

Uncharted 2
Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence/Metal Gear Online 1
Metal Gear Solid 4/Metal Gear Online 2
Gears of War series
Halo series
COD 4

These games had great campaigns AND great multiplayer, yet the campaigns obviously were unaffected by the inclusion of MP. However, some games do put SP on the back burner. I guess those other companies are just not as resourceful as the amazing companies who have made the above games.

Smart decision by Nintendo. Some people were confused and thought that Nintendo dropped out of E3 entirely. Others knew that Nintendo would still be there, but in a smaller way. But this announcement gives light to the fact that they are still gonna be there in a relatively profound way. I've burned this company (mainly Iwata) in the past, but I'm holding my tongue because everyone knows E3 has been a real game-changer when it's come to console wars. 2013 is Nintendo's big ch...

IS it possible for the Xbox 360 to do double layered discs? I mean, the PS3 did it with the western versions of MGS 4. Can it be done with 360's dvd's?

4796d ago 2 agree3 disagreeView comment

Yeah if they wan't to get their casuals back (due to the high amount of consoles it sold Nintendo with their first Wii), they need to offer more of the kinds of games that drew casuals in in the first place. But they also have to keep in mind the core too, since the casual market is kind of finicky and unreliable at times (they come and go at a whim, and casuals are not known for showing loyalty like core gamer's do).
