You start out pretty good but then you mess up with the whole series s is gonna gimp the series x. It’s no different than on pc just because games are made to scale across a variety of set ups. If the series s is gonna hold back gaming the ps5 will to because the series s has a better cpu and we both know the gpu will effect resolution that’s very scalable

I don’t need to lie to myself. The ps5 isn’t even competitive power wise that’s a fact. Every third party game will look and run better. Great backwards compatibility gsmepass and a solid lineup of games from the largest first party in gaming

Just one of many reasons why the series x is the better system.

If you want one this year you better pre order it

Yeah p bomb I actually liked days gone and am glad it sold well but it deserved all the low scores it Horst release and more. The game was a mess technically.
Dreams bombed hard I don’t care how well it scored and nioh 2 iOS a fantastic game that was on sale for 20$ “less than two months after it released. None of those games moved the needle sadly. So my point still stands 2019 was a down year for ps4 so there has definitely been long droughts on the system without people rioting l...

Stop acting like PlayStation never has lulls in production. They went from Spider-Man to the last of us two without a massive game. In that time days gone was mediocre and death stranding was just meh and underperformed. At the beginning of this gen u had just barely a sprinkle of games from launch to uncharted 4. Bloodborn and little big planet three over almost 2 years. I don’t remember any riots during those times.

How about since the tech for a much better handheld experience doesn’t exist focus on better performance when docked. The tech for that certainly exists and many switch owners like myself would definitely welcome it. If they don’t want to play the 4k thing fine give us a switch that can at least do modern games at 1080p 60 FPS without all the compromising docked. Even a 4k upscaler as good as the Xbox one s shouldn’t be too much to ask for.

Looks much better!!! I want to see more but I might have found my go to for the ps5 launch

It definitely shows major improvements to the character models. I know the trailer is just a vertical slice of the game but why not show the better looking footage

More frames is always better. Games look and play better

Yeah you got people that feel threatened by a pro consumer 1440!p 120 FPS system with ray tracing and a ssd for 299 because they know it’s gonna sell like hot cakes. For 299 there’s not much to complain about

Well the one x still costs more than the series s. The series s in time will have upgrades to the bc library I’m sure. Especially if it turns out to be as popular as it seems it will. From a technical prospective the series s is more powerful than a 1x it’s just a different architecture and I’m sure that might bring up some technical hurdles. I’m sure the process to enhance old games can be done on the series s with some work

Yeah right I own two 1xs and it’s by far the best console I have ever owned. It’s way better than the mediocre ps4 pro that rarely gets played

You get what you pay for. If you want every backwards compatible game running at its best then buy a series x. The series s is a solid value but it’s just not gonna give you all the bells and whistles the series x will. I have no use for the series s and will happily be buying the series x day one because I want the best possible experience on a console

Could be a fantastic second console if u are a Sony or Nintendo guy that doesn’t do pc . I do think a version with a disk drive would be more attractive but that’s me.

I totally understand your point and I’ll admit this was my favorite game back in the day so I might be giving it a pass in some respects. Maybe if Ubisoft hear people’s complaints they will give the game extra time or more love.

No doubt I prefer it over the Samsung 8k q900 I bought last month. I think the better blacks and just the depth of color the oled brings to the table is better than the res bump.
