They knew the game was gonna get canned when they missed the last deadline so they had devs that were being paid to work on scalebound work on Neir. That’s a huge no no in the industry. If you notice Activision stopped working with them after that and the hope of any other western company went with it. They are remastering everything they can kickstarting games I’m sure $ is tight. If Nintendo doesn’t fund another game with them they are probably done.
Japan is less relevant than it ever has been in gaming. The west dominates gaming to the point where PlayStation pretends they are an American company.
Xcloud is the key to that market though. Bringing real console games to your phone. That will be popular globally . In five years Xbox will make more $ every year than Sony and Nintendo combined

Yeah Ted the sequel is gonna be bigger and better thanks to their support. I wouldn’t care if the sequel was a multiplat but like hellblade 2 it just makes sense for it to be exclusive
