To be fair even a 5700xt or RTX 2080 cost like 500+ just for the graphics card. And as great as games look on those, they aren't insane leaps. Just higher fps and pretty effects/lighting etc. No way the next gen consoles are gonna be a tremendous leap from ps4. I just want new ways to play. Graphics are important but gaming needs more than just graphics at this point, since increases in visual gains are slowing down.
To be fair, GOW wouldn't have been what it was, if not for TLOU. None of the other GOW games had even half the heart the latest one did. And the whole kid companion/Fathership thing was clearly influenced by TLOU.
A simple TDM mode for aim practice would be nice

Yeah but to be fair, a lot of that difficulty was due to technical limitations: like limited RAM that caused enemies you just killed to respawn just because you moved left of screen than back. Also, no save battery. Play those games on emulation (though respawning issue still remains) and it's significantly more manageable.
It's the year before ps5 releases. Of course it's not their best year. Besides, despite it being ps4's worst year exclusives wise, it's still way better than Xbox One's best year.
It's an OPTIONAL update. So i'm not touching it.

Well I had an idea once (for sports games ONLY, not other types of games): even though everyone hates product placement and ads, putting that stuff in the background of the stadiums and refreshing the ads weekly would actually give a sense of authenticity to a sports game. Because therr are tons of background ads in real professional sports. Doritos, ads for latest films, etc. But only in background (dont interrupt gameplay to force us to watch it). This would pay for the cost of the develope...

Controller players are not forced to play Keyboard/Mouse users. Controller players only play other controller users (unless specified otherwise) in crossplay, even if i'm on ps4 playing against PC players: those pc players must be using a controller to be in same lobby as me.

The game was sold as a pvp game. Now the pvp is being ignored. No new updates for pvp until ow2. That sucks for people who accepted OW for what it advertised as: a pvp game.
Microsoft needs to fire it's entire Xbox management staff, including Spencer. He talks a lot but his actions are too pittle too late. For 2 generations they were lax on exclusives and now they're gonna start a 3rd like this? This is ridiculous. Playstation's job just keeps getting easier. Guess it's just PC, PS5 and whatever Nintendo has brewing for me next gen. Think i'll skip Xbox for this time around.
