It will get the audience of people who like BR but hate doing all that building of ramps and stuff. Plus those of us who prefer first person view. It'll probably be tied between the two, and Fortnite Players will likely play both games. This will definately spell the end of PUBG which has been dying already.

I want to try to understand this better: what would be the PC equivalence of the PS5? Because no ther consoles are on the market yet that we can use as comparison, so it's hard to imagine until ps5 comes out. Which Ryzen cpu is most comparable? Which GPU? Will the SSD be the tiny NVME variants (which would keep the system small in size, doesn't overheat, and is faster than even standard SSDs)? Any mention of how the system will keep cool?

I wish they'd allow the players to tweek settings on PS5 so they can choose fps over graphics (if they wanted to), if they wanted 60 fps or even higher with a high refresh rate monitor. Though I know people get next gen for the visuals, fps can be a bigger selling point in competitive online games. I have ps4 and pc, but I prefer my PC for multiplayer. Having 144 fps (in Overeatch, Rainbow Six, Doom, etc) is just so much smoother (but I lower graphics to medium, which still look as good ...

No, it's just that the gimmick of ommiting other types of players, can hurt their chances of finding players they synergize with. Imagine a team who banded together based solely on their mutual love of rye bread (or some other gimmick). Maybe some of them are great gamers, but it's not a reason to form a team. Hopefully the best players in this all female team can find a mixed team they synergize with.

The game is incomplete. The last thing on their midn is adding a perspective the game wasn't designed to run on. Maybe post release, but you'd have to finish making the game before drastically changing POV that which wasn't on the table from the start.
Maybe now Ubisoft can add hip leaning to console version of r6 siege like the pc has already had for years.
And even if they were, who cares? Sony can do as it pleases on it's own platform.
