WTF? I like micro-managing my party. That's what was great about the first D.A. game. Letting someone control my party eliminates all the strategy for me. I'm cool with co-op so long as I still have 3 total npc party members that I can control by myself. Let the co-op partner have his own team too. But to only control one guy is like controlling only one person in final fantasy or persona. No thanks.
DS2 was waaaaay too easy. I reached the last boss and got mad. I said to myself "this is it?!". To guy who directed it sucks. Catch me on Bloodborne instead. Dark Souls without the challenge is just a mediocre game. Nothing special without the challenge.

I wouldn't at all be opposed to it. Although I think Capcom would benefit most by going with a Parent/Holder company so they can have total financial freedom. But if not, I think Nintendo is best first party. Still though, hope Capcom remains multiplat so everyone wins.

Capcom just needs a good parent company. Just like ATLUS, FROM Software, and Suda 51 did. All of them wanted to stay as multiplatform developers as that would bring in the most revenue while preserving their freedom. Going first party will crush their freedom like it did with RARE. First of all, this article had very little to do with DLC. HE just went on a rant on Dark Soul 2's vanilla level design (which I agree with actually, but I still like the game and hope they improve next time)
If anything, this article is just one big criticism of the original DS2 in comparison to DS1. Not much by way of DLC. One would be hard-presses not to think this was a second attempt by polygon at doing another full-on review.

Well, no company except EA. They admitted BF4 was a fudge and they still havent fixed it, given full/partial refunds, and are still pimping their dlc that nobody will want.
Should at least give back $10 credit. That's the fair thing to do if their policy is no refunds
Saying UC 3 was 9 hours is a hell of a stretch. I clocked in at 4 hours my first attempt. UC 2 was 12 hours my first try. Both first tries were on normal mode.
Edit: I checked "howlongtobeat" website and yeah it says average person is 9 hours, so I stand corrected. But my playthrough was 4 hours and some change.
Mario 64 and Zelda OOT both paved the way for their respective genres entering the 3d spectrum. Before Zelda OOT, other games didnt know how to handle battles in a wider 3d space. Miyamoto came up with the targeting system and voila--a masterpiece. Mario 64's innovation is why we have games like Sly Cooper, Ratchet & Clank, etc--and still nothing touches Mario 64. ^ Preach! Xbox is a joke out here in NYC too. On black friday last year I waited on Gamestop line to buy PS Plus discounted cards. Anyway, there was only one guy who kept raving about xbox one. Everyone else rolled their eyes. The store manager came outside and asked who came for xbox one, and only that guy raised his hand. He than asked who was there for Ps4, and about 75% raised their hands. The rest were there for games or 3ds's. Lol.
Meh. I counted 8 PS4 games that are last gen ports or cross-gen. We need more new games asap. The only ORIGINAL games in the ps4/vita lists that I want are Bloodborne and Freedom Wars.
This gen is off to a slow start.
