the slim actually loads the game faster. but the two-second difference is insignificant. the crapbox going RRODead in 2 second is a different story, though.

batman AA is a good game but it has a lot of flaws.. stupid ai, a lot of backtracking (seriously DMC4 was criticized for that), repetitive game mechanics (the solution for every probably is to look for a vent), and no replay value (played it on hard the first time and got all the trophies, but the challenge rooms may extend the replay value a little bit)
and oh yeah, killzone does not have FLAWS like this. you can nitpick about the story etc but that just stupid.

not everyone who buys a ps3 has a HDTV.. if you only have a SDTV, then you won't be able to play it right away if it came with HDMI only. you'd be unstasfied with the purchase.
if you have a HDTV, you can still use the composite but you'll like need to buy HDMI/component ASAP.
