Why do edge insist on giving heavily hyped titles below average scores. Is it just attention seeking or do they just hate games people are interested in?

Seriously, how the hell is Killzone 2 going to be more anticipated than whats going to be the best multiplatform 2009 game. PS3 users AND Xbox users voted, killzone is 22 days away and CoD4 was the best FPS this generation. 9% to 15% is pretty impressive

Its too late for l4d. If it had come out on PS3 with the 360 version i may have contemplated purchasing it. But PS3 has got Co-op in the form of resistance and RE5. Seriously, who would L4D over them? Its graphics were outdated a year ago, although its gameplay is good. Personally i think they shouldn't bother.
But... they get the game over a month after the rest of the world, and we get the full game before they get there second demo. So all in all it doesn't bother me too much that Japan might get a single and a multiplayer demo.
...is the PS3 so it would make sense for them to put ME2 on PS3. Look at mirrors edge for instance, both consoles had it but even IGN had to admit the PS3 version was better.

No, no and no. If Halo revolutionised the genre so did CoD4 (which it didn't.) Both these games bought nothing new to the table, at least not in the same way Doom or Halflife did. Halo was just the evolution of the FPS, but only because there were no other FPS games around.
Wait Wait Wait. Amazon have reported killzone pre orders went up 1900%, and kz2 isn't scoring high enough? IGN isn't excatly an amazing website either (i personally dislike as do ALL of the people i know that game) They should have one reviewer review each genre, at least then we wouldn't gbe getting the bi-polar reviews currently being published
I'd rather have no installs and a minute of slowdown ect throughout the game than a 5 min install at the start. And come on. That bit about the weapons? No one complained about CoDs weapons. No one complained about Gears 2's weapons even though there were every few and just real weapons with slight mods. Oooh a gun with a chainsaw on. If thats all it takes to dazzle gamers these days then what the hell went wrong?
The Demo is still coming out publically before the release date, so why have sony shot themsleves in the foot? They've probably made more money any by giving Gamestop demo codes
The only way you could prefer RE graphics is through the art design. Lots of people commented they think Killzone is bit dull. But still, only that stupid xbox fanboy (cant remember the name but he has a picture of half a girls head in black and white) said killzone looked worse. At the end of the day Killzone is technically the better looker, animator etc, but it comes down to which artistic direction you prefer

Whenever i've heard of PS3 consoles just dying and not turning on, its normally the fuse, not the PS3. A lot of people dont think to check the fuse so end up sending their PS3 back.

PS2 has the largest install base of any consoles and many of those PS2 users are waiting for a price drop to get a PS3, a price drop that may happen before 2010, yet the PS3 needs saving? Sony are beginning to make a profit on the PS3, and as the years go by that profit margin will probably go up. Yet the PS3 needs saving?
