It's the same thing as quitting out of the game. Selene wakes up and a new run begins, with the permanent stuff obtained in the previous run still retained.

But of course. The game updating on it's own while the game is suspended in rest mode is also the "dEvElOpEr'S oRiGiNaL vIsIoN oF tHe GaMe" that everyone's going bananas about.

When you speak out, they listen. I'm glad they're keeping the PS3/Vita stores up.

Man. RE4 really is Capcom's Skyrim. Or is Skyrim Bethesda's RE4?

Anyway, cool stuff.

You are missing something. It's strictly for storing games to free up space on the internal drive without having to reinstall/redownload the entire thing.

Cold storage! Finally!

Also being able to manage storage on the mobile app is super nifty!

Good stuff! Thank god they're going with what's considered a standard in VR + adding their own touch with the adaptive triggers.

Me want buy.

Already platinumed it the same day I got the PS5. Same goes for Rescue Mission when it launched. I'm honestly super glad they included it with every PS5 and I hope they make more to fill that fun platforming goodness void that I missed from Sony.

The LG 27GL850 (a 1440p monitor) already supports 4K signals and downscales it to 1440p out of the box. Tested it extensively with the PS4 Pro and ran into 0 issues.

The issue is not just 1440p though. With consoles trying to push VRR and 120hz (and thousands of 1440p monitors out there supporting it even with just HDMI 2.0 and FreeSync), it's just nonsensical for Sony to simply ignore it, while slapping the 8K badge on the box despite the console not even supporting i...

Yup. The Ultimate FAQ that Sony posted yesterday mentioned this. Don't see why this article needed to be approved tbh.

Not supporting storage expansion via NVMe drives at launch is understandable, since nothing has been officially certified to work on the PS5 as of yet. Not being able to STORE PS5 games on a mass external drive to free up space on the internal drive is stupid, and I'm hoping a day 1 patch will rectify that.

Sucks to hear for me, but it isn't the end of the world. Plus this can always be patched in later if they ever decide to look into it.

Official retailers/resellers over here follow the release date guidelines. Smaller shops don't give a fudge.

Both John and Richard each got theirs relatively at the same time. EU based press didn't get them until a few days after the US based press.
