Of course people would lose jobs, no one said that they wouldn't. But continuing to support a company that you hate and claim that theyre destroying the industry, just so devs don't lose jobs is pure stupidity.
@Behind
You say no one was axed, I guess you believe that Jim just chose to retire at a convenient time huh.
Well at least one company knows when to axe a CEO when they're f'ing things up.
"Who do you think gets punished for not buying games, do you think the trillion dollar company will take the hit, or do you think it'll be the game studios and the workforce?"
This excuse again? If you truly thought that a company is poison to the industry you wouldn't support them. You cut cancer out to get rid of it, not continue to feed it.
@FPS
It's a little thing called 'Sales'.
Sure has been an increase of ninja and samurai games as of late, not that I'm complaining.
Spun? It's on Gamepass, I thought it was common knowledge that Gamepass cannibalizes sales.
Yeah that would be cool too.
Come on Ocarina, Majora's Mask or Link to the Past.
I still haven't gotten on board with paying $70. They can hope in one hand, crap in the other and see which fills first, I'm not paying $100.
These games are large in file sizes, so most probably would't have physical versions.
Ive been buying them day 1 since the 360, I dont think I'll be buying an Xbox at all if theres no reason to because the games can be played elsewhere.
Dude you're a bit of a fanatic yourself. Remember when you said the Switch 1 had peaked in sales at 30m, boy was you wrong.
When has a console manufacturer cancel 8 single player games in a short period of time? The PS5 will now receive fewer exclusives because of the wasted years of development time and money from bad decisions.
The same leaker claims that there will be a direct for the Switch 1 in February too, i don't see much coming from it or a State of Play but I'll still watch both.
Well yeah, Videogamer.com is above the N4G law.
If you looked into the sales number of these handheld PCs, you'd see that they aren't competing. Even the Steam Deck has only sold around 5m in 3 years.
Was that a new Mario Kart? Looked like 8 to me.
I'm hoping the updated version gets released on the next Switch, I'd love to have it portable.
Theyre pushing Gamepass still so they'll likely stagger the releases with a few months exclusivity.
