Ultr = voice of logic.
Well, no, it isn't. The example you gave with Capcom is just bad business practice. I think SEGA did the same thing with Rome II last year. This on the other hand is just for convenience. It's not the same as DLC pre-loaded, as many would argue you should be entitled access to that as it's already on the disc you just purchased. These installed games on the other hand aren't yours, so I don't see the comparison. They aren't locking any extra content away from you as yo...
Destructibility:
+ Some objects are destructible, can explode and move and shatter and that sort of thing.
+ Not a hugely destructible game, like you can’t just blow up everything and see it crumble to the ground.
Other details:
+ Very narrative-driven story-based linear gameplay for the most part.
+ Tons of opportunities for sequels, DLCs, that sort of stuff - conversations with Sony down the road.
+ There’s melee, there’s short-rang...
I think it is. But obviously there will be people that are ignorant to this fact, and, having paid for and played the original on PS3, believe that it is being remastered purely for them, and therefore they think they are being screwed over even though no one's forcing them to purchase the game again.
They did they bother?
It's one of the PS3's best exclusives of last gen - some would argue the best - and there's obviously a huge audience on the PS4 for it, as many owners used to play 360 and never had the chance to play it. Author also seems to be ignorant of the fact The Last of Us: Remastered includes all DLC. Right now, the original costs around £30 on Amazon. Add the £15.99 Season Pass and you're left with a couple of pounds off the asking price of t...
Not really. Xbox doesn't have much of a presence in Japan anyway.
I think Destiny is going to move a lot more units, especially since Activision's huge marketing budget is going to be centred around PS4.
'sony ponies' still get the content first, so not sure why they'd be mad.
'I got nothing but love for shu'
Your sarky attitude and negativity would suggest otherwise. :)
Niche game, with little to no competition in terms of quality. Therefore fans of the Souls series will buy a PS4 in order to game the next game, thereby making it a 'system seller'.
… which he has said was a mistake.
"Luckily, third party publishers, Atlus in North America and Namco in Europe [stepped in], and it really became a great hit outside of Japan. We definitely dropped the ball from a publishing standpoint, including studio management side," he said. "We were not able to see the value of the product we were making.
"I hope we won't make the same mistake again. I should have been more stubborn talking to m...
Well you've taken that out of context. What he played wasn't the final build.
"What happened with Demon's Souls was until very late in the game's development, we were not able to play the game through. There were framerate issues and the network was not up and running. We underestimated the quality of the game and to be honest, the media in Japan did the same.
Gamescom isn't really vita-focused. If it's focused towards anything, it's Sony's European studios. We'll probably get to see what Guerrilla Cambridge are working on, Media Molecule, GG's new IP, and so on.
They only have so much power available. Even with optimisation, if they haven't got it running at 1080p or 60 fps at the moment, I would be very, very surprised if they achieved both in the final release. Unless of course they downgraded the game in aspects.
Exactly how I feel. It was very low on my radar but now it's my most anticipated title.
Having seen no footage prior to playing the Alpha, it did take me by surprise how good this game looks.
I think the 'multiplatform games that are "better on Playstation"' point is actually quite interesting though. Playstation owners get to invite a friend to play Far Cry 4 with them even if said friend doesn't actually own the game. That's kinda a big deal. If it gets to the stage where PS4 owners are not only offered superior graphical fidelity in multiplat games, but also big features like that, then they've really got something going there and I'm excited a...
You felt asleep? Well that makes perfect sense.
For every person that complains about it not being there, another would complain if it was, since it was already shown last year.
It will be given attention at Gamescom.
Just looked her up. Hot, but can imagine that voice getting old real fast.
