#1 = Why I might buy it LOL
But seriously, I've never been a fan of western-type games so I'm shocked at how fun this looks lol
+ bubbles.
ps. Does anyone have 4 yet? lol
I'm actually quite curious...
I've heard recent games being lead on the PS3, what are some examples?
I'd say the closest game to touch an exclusive game with a first party studio would be BC2 but even then, it just lacks some things that keep it from being way up there graphically on the PS3. I'm under the impression this was lead on the ps3 though? any more examples? (actually wondering lol)
Honestly it's great to hear de...
you're wrong. That's exactly what they're going to do... rely on "Call of Duty" to make them money.
While I'm totally against Activision because of what they do to great franchises, you can't take all the blame off IW. If they were 'forced' to make mw2 a crap game then I'm sure many would have left during earlier stages.. mw2 was clearly the direction IW was willing to go along with, however Activision may have rushed them... some of ...
I don't think DICE would do that anyways. I think this game will be DICE's interpretation of an "arcade" type shooter like MW2. Their take of course.. will be way better.
I think the gameSTYLE of mw2, like mw1 for example, would be good if done right... ie. Counterstrike 1.6, Source, MW1
I could be wrong of course, but no way DICE would develop a game to compete with their baby... Battlefield
Well there's definately more detail in the character models:

I actually love that artsyle
But the environments seem a little dull to me, like Halo3-ish.
Either way, the new features warrant a buy for me regardless, even if it did look like halo 3. Can't wait for monday..
I loved Oni, am i the only one? lol
One thing is for sure, whatever they make, I hope they keep innovating AND including features found in halo like the Theatre mode / community aspect. That kind of stuff should be in any multiplayer game now
atleast I love it anyway..
didn't expect any of those haha
May should be interesting though =)
I actually thought he said all cars have damage but only 100 or so will have INTERIOR damage.
Either way, I'm excited to see the damage when it's finalized.
Considering the most we've seen so far was a few minutes of 1 car slowly bumping into a few walls, on an unfinished damage model about 6 months ago, how can you imply that the damage model isn't good enough?
before release, I thought Two Worlds was the perfect game..
jus sayin..
Why you're only rockin 5 bubblez is beyond me.
Some of the most non-biased, legitimate / mature posts come from you and you're still sitting at even lol
+ from me
On Topic: no.
It is cool they're offering this. But I don't feel like trying to play virtual dodgeball. I'm already sick of it just from videos. I wonder what the chances are they will show something different?
I'm glad they're showing a variety of different games..
In all seriousness though, I can see how this will appeal to the casual market... but that's about it. While enjoying this technology with a few buddies and some brews seems realistic, playing seriously in my "game room" (small at that) seems very far fetched.
Ah you're right about the travel vs drop my bad.
Guess it makes sense.. I don't think it'll be a huge issue anyways it was just something I was a little concerned with at first like it would be a massive assist, but to help create a balance and the fact you pointed out, how it would jump around as it's instantaneous makes perfect sense to me.
I have no doubt in Bungie anyways. They know what their fans want and while some changes are being made to the basic formula, ...
Definately stoked for this fkin game. Watching this made me wanna play halo 3 again lol
Question though.. I DO like the fact that the covenant now has bullet physics and you need to account for the bulletdrop etc, but why would they completely noobify it by adding a "Ghost Reticle" showing WHERE to aim to counter the bulletdrop etc. isn't that sort of defeating the purpose or the "challenge" that is created?
just thought of one..
Proximity mines from goldeneye :D
All i wanted was was the grenades to be less noob friendly.
ONLY thing I ever disliked about UC online was the grenade drop just before death, and it hasn't changed :(
otherwise perfect, they could have left it all but that.
Interesting..
Would it be compatible with something like Steam? Can I trade in my steam games? Can I trade in my steam games for other steam games or is this going to be completely separate and will force me to create multiple "digital" collections?
