I love this cold war between Sony and MS, utlizing proxies to do their battling.
Can someone enlighten me what the big deal about backwards capability is? I love my classic PS1 and 2 games and as much as it sucks I may never get to play some of those games ever again that's OK. Life is short and there's only so many hours in a day and there's more than enough fantastic games coming to next gen to everyone entertained.
There's no such thing as a perfect game, therefore the games that get closest to that moniker deserve it. The question now is what defines a game as "perfect"...
And they still are....
MS were doing so much better a year ago. I was actually hyped for their next console and the next gen and was considering getting their new console...but now...after the last two showings.... ehh...
Remake Last Of Us with the all the assets, expanded levels and game mechanics of Part 2!
Naughty Dog, CDPR and 11 Bit Studios what more does a gamer need...
9 out of 10. Perfect scoring for TLOU2
Game score is 10/10, even though story and plot was its weakest element this time around.
I loved the expanded combat zones and the constant displacing to avoid enemies and get around/behind them/above/below them etc.... but!.... what made the TLOU great was the intimacy of the kills. Sure we hear people shout names and scream "NO!" when they hear the yelp of their dog being shot which adds to the humanity but because everything is so much further away the kills feel less p...
The game industry even at 60$ per game are still earning more than the film and music industry combined... Although some companies may be struggling financially, most are still turning a massive profit.
Last of Us Part 2 costs between 100-150 million + 100 million in marketing and guess what.... they're doing OK.
Fuck leaks! You blood sucking parasites
But you get the sub-machinegun from the start of Seattle!
Now this I can't get enough of.
I enjoyed the ending. It was cruel, bleak and nihilistic.
However I can't shake this feeling that ND could have gone much more brutal with it and really shown us the consequences of hate, revenge and the cycle of violence.
And yes, this is a "what i would've done" comment. SPOILER ALERT!
During the farm sequence when she has the first vision attack while you're herding the sheep into the barn we reveal that everything on the...

The same dozen or so commentators talking shit on every article about TLOU2... i'ts almost like they're trolling for the dislikes and the lulz...
OK, so she kills Joel. It made me hate her for a while. Whats wrong with playing as her for a section (big or small) of the game?
Bear in mind that Last of Us is my favourite game of all time and Joel is my favourite character of all time. So please, enlighten me. Whats the big deal with playing as Abby?
As much as I agree that they could have done a little extra something than what they offered up, I certainly don't agree that it was a MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT
I have plenty of gripes about the game, but nothing that would bring the score from a 9 to a 5.
1. Not enough variety in the kill animations.
2. Lev and Yara storyline had a bit too much of an abrupt shift in terms of understanding why Abby suddenly wants to help them escape.
And finally, as a personal thought; I think it would have made more sense that Ellie lets Abby live at the end had Lev been dead when he dropped from the pole he was strung...
It is the Commandos remake we've all been waiting for. Now all it has to do is be good
