The thing is, it's being downgraded for the 360. Not only that but it's made by Square-Enix, people thought it would be released this year, and now that we have seen much better games (and more gameplay of WKC) then of course it's not going to be GOTY or anywhere close to it. The only people who said it would be GOTY anytime after that were gullible fanboys who thought Square-Enix hasn't lost their quality (but they have).

I thought only 360's had the ability to blow up. I think RRoD was one of the warning signs.

Is FF13 being made by Square-Enix still? If so, then it won't be GOTY. Squaresoft made good FF games for consoles but Square-Enix came along and the FF series turned to garbage. People still seem to expect like they can deliver the same quality that was in the good FF games back on the PS1 but the fact is, they can't.
Besides, FF13 won't even be close to GOTY if it comes out in 2009 cause there will be God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Killzone 2, White Knight Chronicles, and many other ...
It's good to know that even if you don't decide to download this stuff then at least you have the option to unlike Xbots who bought the inferior version of Bioshock.
Of course you think Gears 2 has the best graphics on the 360. It's not like the 360 can do anything better. I mean it's all brown & gray too. It doesn't even touch the graphics on PS3 games like Killzone 2 & Heavy Rain though. I just think it's funny that nobody will be playing Gears 2 (aside from pirates who knew they didn't want to support a crappy game) since Resistance 2 is coming out around the same time.
Because Xbots have nothing else to look forward to. I mean they don't know how much better Uncharted is compared to Tomb Raider (though in all fairness the recent Tomb Raider games have been garbage lately & this one doesn't seem to break the mold either). Uncharted is just the better game.
Xbots are already used to being ripped off with mediocre services like XBL having you pay to play games, they've been ripped off by getting the RRoD at least 10 times per year, and now the 360's disc drives are starting to crap out more than the RRoD so Microsoft can charge you to "fix" it again since you're only covered for RRoD.
To sum it all up, it's because the Xbots are dumb enough to buy music videos on XBL.
Resistance 2 is now a must buy. I mean if it's anything NOT like Halo then that gives it potential to be a AAA game.
The Penny Arcade games are garbage (much like their comics).
Call of Duty World at War as a top game? I don't think so. It's made by the crappy devs and all it does is try to copy off of CoD4. If you have CoD4 then you won't even need yet another WWII shooter that throws in lame garbage like zombie gametypes. I mean CoD is really that good of a series in the first place and even CoD4 is really lacking.

I know if I saw both of these on the shelf then I would go for Resistance 2. It will keep you busy for hours with story, co-op, and multiplayer (thanks to blu-ray you can get the most out of your game). Why would you want to play 5 on 5 multiplayer when you could play 30 on 30 multiplayer or even 8 player co-op? Resistance 2 is going to be THE shooter of the year for 2008.
Especially if you keep it in your pocket. You could burst into flames at any second.
This will be a good time to get out the video camera and videotape all the crying Xbots as you spoil the ending to Gears of War 1.5 when driving by Gamestop that night. Then post it on youtube for everyone to watch.
