Game sales can impact sales of other games. The top games will sell more and first. people will wait for games they want to play but dont want to spend the money now since they just spend $$ on the top games like COD, fallout, Battlefront. As time goes, they just never get to the point of purchasing the game they held off of which is the source of "backlog".

No wonder all these publishers are doing remasters and remakes. People want old things instead of developers creating new games.
Those are first party games so it is different. They know only Xbox one and pc players are matched together.
If there is a hurdle the hurdle would be how to matchmaker when three platforms are in the pool of players and making sure Xbox and ps4 are not matching up together. Clearly ms doesn't want their players to play with ps4 players and this studio would have to program to disallow that which I think they don't want to waste the time doing it.
Not sure if this will sell well but at least it isn't going to release in November.
Battlefront what a let down. After the nostalgia of the game subsides. Game is boring.
They are not doing their own vr because they don't believe it will be a game changer. They are not going to be behind since they support oculus.
Ms is not doing a gaming vr headset. They are doing Hololens.
They will support anything game that will use oculus since it would be under win10.

Shouldn't have released same period as fall out battlefront halo and cod. To even think your franchise has the same pull as those is pretty delusional on their fault and ms fault. Should of released in the summer.
Sales were under the low end of ea estimates which they stated themselves. It probably still in the millions

For a new game that just came out. A 24 hr stat with those low numbers for a game that is online only says a lot.
Throw in that this game is Star Wars too and ea admitting sales were didn't meet the low expectations. Not good.
Ea did acknowledge softer sales than expected and hope for improvement. They are banking for a bump during g the movie release.
Doesn't sound so good so far for the game. If people are waiting they should wait until holiday xmas time for much cheaper deal.
This game isn't worth full price to me and add the $50 pass on top of it when new content is released in 2016.

Game direction is to be the same like other games instead of sticking to how the original tomb raider was a unique game.
Passing in this pos game. This is a remake of a 20 yr old game. I understand there are a ton of things to do but the story is finished which is pretty much half the battle. Just make it look nice
