I played three hours of Socom 4 then PSN went down. Oh well. Its been down for only 6 days and I could care less.
Uncharted 1 wasn't a launch title.
I would find it hard to believe that if someone obtained our CC info that they haven't started making charges yet. Especially out of the millions of PSN users.
Edit:@ WayneKerr...damn...that's what this is all about? LOL, linux on the PS3 was shit. Ran like a turtle, no flash support, no graphics drivers, wifi barely worked, etc.
Yea...if someone stole our identity off of PSN you would see tons of reports of credit card fraud. So far we had that one guy "claim" someone charged $600 on his credit card. Other then that nothing has been mentioned. Either way this really shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Yeah, if they did truly obtain our info there would be thousands of people reporting fraud claims. Either way Sony obviously learned there lesson with security and how its time to the tighten the fuck out of it.
Yeah, I think credit card fraud would be rampet right now if they actually did steal our credit cards. Its been 6 days already nobody out of all of the millions of PSN users have reported anything. Either way hopefully Sony secured PSN tighter then a Christian nuns vagina. I still find it funny that this happened. Fortune 500 Company gets attacked by basement dwellers.
That is all speculation. There has been zero reports of fraud of any kind. Its been a week already and nobody out of the 70+ million PSN users has reported credit card fraud. Either way Sony is a Fortune 500 company, with 167,900 employees. They should already have some of the best security teams in the world. I guess not though. Also these articles should really stop. There must be 50+ of them already.
Well obviously. If someone did obtain our credit card info it would be breaking news. Plus its been an entire week already and nobody has reported anything. So its more then likely all good. Either way Sony really needs to beef the fuck out of their network. Like hire the best guys in the security business and don't half ass anything. Its a fortune 500 company for Christ sakes.
Gamers talking about the stock market...lol. Leave that to someone who knows what they are talking about. Watch Bloomberg for a while.
So....is there even any confirmed reports of credit card fraud? So far its seems like its all speculation. If someone stole my credit card and they found out who did it obviously it would be a federal crime and the fbi would go after them. Either way I would just sue them for theft and identity fraud just to pour salt on the wounds. Also I think its time for Sony to start hiring some major IT guys with some serious security back grounds. They are a Fortune 500 company and they allowed some ba...
Ah...if any of these rumors of credit card fraud are true it would be a federal investigation. Which means the FBI.
Hmm, to think a Nintendo console would have a AAA online game its hard to get my head around that. Nintendo obviously is just going to be focusing on the online aspect of things for their next console. They are WAY due for an online upgrade.
Its a new ip and its not going to be showed at E3? That's hard to believe that they wouldn't reveal it. Unless they just started to work on it literally just a few days ago.
Hmm, Oh well. I never expected anything in the first place. 6 days with no PSN is very bearable if you have a life besides gaming...which most do.
I seen all of that footage two days after they announced it at Spike.
Meh...who cares? It has only been 5 days going on 6 tomorrow. Tomorrow its rumored to be back up.
*Yawn* just more speculation.
Most people just end up going back to WoW after two months.
Hopefully they are done using Windows 98 servers.
I'm just kidding by the way.
I could care less to have any next gen consoles for at least another 4 years. The PS3/360 haven't even come close to reaching their peak yet. Nintendo could use a new system asap.
